Reaping the Whirlwind, Artist Unknown

IN last week’s readings, we heard the prophet Hosea proclaim:

When they sow the wind, they shall reap the whirlwind. (Hos 8:7)

Several years ago, as I stood in a farm field watching a storm approach, the Lord showed me in spirit that a great hurricane was coming upon the world. As my writings unfolded, I began to understand that what was coming head-on toward our generation was the definitive breaking of the seals of Revelation (see The Seven Seals of Revolution). But these seals are not God’s punitive justice per se—they are, rather, man reaping the whirlwind of his own conduct. Yes, the wars, plagues, and even disruptions in weather and the earth’s crust are often man-made (see The Land is Mourning). And I wish to say it again… no, not say it—I am shouting now—the Storm is upon us! It is now here!

God has delayed and delayed and delayed, as He did for Hezekiah who was upon his deathbed. The Lord told him:

I have heard your prayer and seen your tears… I will add fifteen years to your life. (Friday’s first reading)

How many times has the Lord added fifteen years here, ten years there? But several years ago, I heard the Lord say very clearly in my heart: I am lifting the restrainer, and then more recently, I have removed the restrainer (see Removing the Restrainer). The restrainer to what? St. Paul tells us there is a restrainer upon lawlessness. And now we see lawlessness bursting out all around us. And by this, I am not only referring to those exponentially increasing random acts of violence and insanity that mark the daily news (see Warnings in the Wind); no, here I am speaking of the organized lawlessness that has been a long time in the making: the systematic overthrow of the present order.

At this period, however, the partisans of evil seem to be combining together, and to be struggling with united vehemence, led on or assisted by that strongly organized and widespread association called the Freemasons. No longer making any secret of their purposes, they are now boldly rising up against God Himself… that which is their ultimate purpose forces itself into view—namely, the utter overthrow of that whole religious and political order of the world which the Christian teaching has produced, and the substitution of a new state of things in accordance with their ideas, of which the foundations and laws shall be drawn from mere naturalism. —POPE LEO XIII, Humanum Genus, Encyclical on Freemasonry, n.10, Apri 20th, 1884

As I wrote in Mystery Babylon and elsewhere on the present and coming Global Revolution, there are powerful leaders in the world, mostly behind the scenes, who are controlling the nations’ purse strings; men and women who are orchestrating with Satan (whether they know it or not) the overthrow of nations.

…it is in his heart to destroy, to make an end of nations not a few… [to move] the boundaries of peoples, [and pillage] their treasures… (Wednesday’s first reading)

What is most remarkable is that many people are absolutely oblivious to this Storm that is now upon them, staring like zombies into big screen TV’s and smartphones while the thief is at the back door. The systematic encroachment upon freedom in the name of “fighting terrorism”; the easy credit that has led to mass usury; the utter dependence upon the State for food and basic necessities (see The Great Deception – Part II) … yes, mankind is delivering its liberty into the hands of a few with barely a protest:

Proudly the wicked harass the afflicted, who are caught in the devices the wicked have contrived… No one fluttered a wing, or opened a mouth, or chirped. (Saturday’s Psalm; Wednesday’s first reading)

And thus, time has run out. The hour is ripe for the harvest of evil, and the wicked are even telling us through occultic symbolism and Hollywood, which some mistake for entertainment.

As a woman about to give birth writhes and cries out in her pains, so were we in your presence, O Lord. We conceived and writhed in pain, giving birth to the wind. (Thursday’s first reading)

But if evil has a plan, then God has a plan to triumph over it, even though now, I believe, our prayers cannot change the course of what is about to unfold. What can change is individual hearts:

Though you pray the more, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood! Wash yourselves clean! Put away your misdeeds from before my eyes; cease doing evil; learn to do good. (Monday’s first reading)

The Lord will permit us to reap the whirlwind as a means to chastise us as any loving father would disicpline his son—to bring about a repentant heart so as to reconcile us to Himself through Jesus.

Shall he who instructs nations not chastise, he who teaches men knowledge? (Wednesday’s Psalm)

And thus:

When your judgment dawns upon the earth, the world’s inhabitants learn justice. O Lord, you mete out peace to us… You will arise and have mercy on Zion… The nations shall revere your name, O Lord, and all the kings of the earth your glory, when the Lord has rebuilt Zion and appeared in his glory. (Thursday’s first reading and Psalm)

Is any of what I’ve just written differ from what Our Blessed Mother has said in her message at Fatima?

I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.

So what now you ask? What can we do? Friday’s first reading says it as clearly as it can be:

Put your house in order.

Put your spiritual life in order. Consecration? Communions of reparation? Most of us have not gotten beyond simple repentance let alone penance! “Babylon” is about to collapse upon many Christians’ heads for the simple reason that they live under its roof:

Depart from her, my people, so as not to take part in her sins and receive a share in her plagues, for her sins are piled up to the sky, and God remembers her crimes. (Rev 18:4)

I say put your spiritual house in order, first and foremost, because many people are not going to enter into the era of peace. Some are going to be called home, and in many cases, in the blink of an eye—Christians included. What is coming, at the end of this Storm, whenever that may be, is the purification of the world (see The Great Storm).

According to the Lord, the present time is the time of the Spirit and of witness, but also a time still marked by “distress” and the trial of evil which does not spare the Church and ushers in the struggles of the last days. It is a time of waiting and watching… The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection.Catechism of the Catholic Church, 672, 677

Here is the second reason for putting your house in order: it is not only a time of “distress” but “of the Spirit and of witness.” We are not to be standing by, watching the Storm with binoculars from a cement bunker. Rather, we are called to become holy, shining, blazing saints in this present darkness. That can’t happen unless our spiritual house is in order.

Third, here is the promise of Friday’s Psalm:

Those live whom the Lord pCrossPassion2rotects; yours is the life of my spirit.

That is, those who put their hearts right with God have His protection. By this, I mean spiritual protection from Satan’s deception, which is spreading over the world like a dark cloud, bringing about an “eclipse of reason.”

Faithfulness = God’s protection:

Because you have kept my message of endurance, I will keep you safe in the time of trial that is going to come to the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming quickly. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one may take your crown. (Rev 3:10)

I am sinner. I too need to go deeper in the conversion of my heart, by His grace. But we need to do this before it is too late. And with God, as long as one has breath, it is never too late.

A bruised reed he will not break, a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory. (Saturday’s Gospel)

Repent. Be His witness. Be faithful. That’s what He asks of you this very minute.
