This prayer came to me before Mass this week. Jesus said that we are to be “the light of the world”, not hidden beneath a bushel basket. But it is precisely in becoming little, in dying to self, and in uniting oneself interiorly to Christ in humility, prayer,\u00a0and total\u00a0abandonment to His Will, that this Light shines forth.<\/i><\/p>\n

THE INVISIBLE PRAYER<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n

O LORD,\u00a0<\/strong>help\u00a0me to decrease so that You may increase,<\/p>\n

To be hidden so that You be revealed,<\/p>\n

To be forgotten such that You may be remembered,<\/p>\n

To be unseen so that You may be seen,<\/p>\n

To be little so that You may be magnified,<\/p>\n

To be invisible so\u00a0that You may be made visible.<\/p>\n

O God, may I no longer live, but Christ in me. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
