POLITICAL <\/i><\/b>correctness has become so entrenched, so predominant, so widespread in our times that men and women no longer seem capable of thinking for themselves. When presented with matters of right and wrong, the desire to \u201cnot offend\u201d so outweighs that of truth, justice and common sense, that even the strongest wills collapse beneath the fear of being excluded or mocked. Political correctness is a like a fog through which a ship passes rendering even the compass useless amidst dangerous rocks and shoals. It is like an overcast sky that so blankets out the sun that the traveler loses all sense of direction in broad daylight. It is like a stampede of wild animals racing toward cliff\u2019s edge who unwittingly hurtle themselves to destruction.<\/p>\n

Political correctness is the seedbed of apostasy<\/i>. And when it is so utterly widespread, it is the fertile soil of the Great Apostasy. <\/i><\/p>\n

THE TRUE MISSION<\/p>\n

Pope Paul VI famously said:<\/p>\n

\u2026the smoke of Satan is seeping into the Church of God through the cracks in the walls.<\/b> \u2014POPE PAUL VI, first Homily during the Mass for Sts. Peter & Paul<\/em>, June 29, 1972<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Error and heresy, that is, modernism, <\/i>having been sown into the seedbed of \u201creligious” political correctness in the past century, has bloomed today in the form of a false mercy<\/a>. <\/i>And this false mercy has now seeped everywhere in the Church, even to its summit.<\/p>\n

The tail of the devil is functioning in the disintegration of the Catholic world. The darkness of Satan has entered and spread throughout the Catholic Church even to its summit. Apostasy, the loss of the faith, is spreading throughout the world and into the highest levels within the Church.<\/b> \u2014POPE PAUL VI, Address on the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Fatima Apparitions, October 13, 1977; reported in the Italian paper ‘Corriere della Sera’, on Page 7, October 14, 1977 issue<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The \u201closs of faith\u201d here is not necessarily a loss of faith in the historical Christ, or even a loss of faith that He still exists. Rather, it is a loss of faith in His mission<\/em>, enunciated clearly in Scripture and Sacred Tradition:<\/p>\n

You are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. (Matt 1:21)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The purpose of Jesus\u2019 preaching, miracles, passion, death and resurrection was to liberate mankind from the power of sin and death. From the beginning, however, He made it clear that this liberation was an individual<\/i> choice, one that every\u00a0man, woman and child of the age of reason are invited to make personally in a free response.<\/p>\n

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him. (John 3:36)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Matthew, the very first word Jesus preached was \u201cRepent.<\/i>\u201d [1]<\/sup><\/a>cf. Matt 3:2<\/span><\/span>
