She has spoken many times about how its an all out war and its only getting bigger and the different kinds of beings. Our Lady appeared to her in a dream last year as our Lady of Guadalupe. Staying close to the Sacraments and Jesus and Mary are of the utmost importance. \u2014<\/strong>A letter from a reader, September, 2013<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/10\/01\/americas\/edmonton-vehicle-attacks-investigation\/index.html\"><strong>TERROR\u00a0<\/strong>in Canada<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2017\/10\/01\/marseille-terror-attack-stabbing.html\"><em>Terror<\/em> in France<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2017\/10\/02\/las-vegas-shooting-at-least-58-dead-in-massacre-trump-calls-act-pure-evil.html\"><em>Terror<\/em> in the United States<\/a>. That&#8217;s just the headlines of the past few days. Terror is the footprint of Satan, whose chief weapon in these times is\u00a0<em>fear.<\/em>\u00a0For fear keeps us from becoming vulnerable, from trusting, from entering into relationship&#8230; whether it is between spouses, family members, friends, neighbours, neighbouring nations, or God. Fear, then, leads us to control or give up control, to restrict,\u00a0build walls, burn bridges, and repel.\u00a0St. John wrote that <em>&#8220;perfect love drives out all fear.&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_31396_1('footnote_plugin_reference_31396_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_31396_1('footnote_plugin_reference_31396_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_31396_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_31396_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">1 John 4:18<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_31396_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_31396_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> As such, one could also say that\u00a0<em>perfect fear<\/em>\u00a0drives out all love.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Fear is also the terrible side-effect of sin because we are made in the image of God, who is Love. So when we break His divine law, it is an arrow through the heart of our very being&#8230; and we sense this; we know it deep in our souls where the natural law is written, and thus, our reflex is to flee from the light that exposes this naked truth.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">&#8230;the man and his wife hid themselves from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. The Lord God then called to the man and asked him: Where are you? He answered, \u201cI heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid.\u201d (Gen 3:8-10)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Thousands of years later, nothing has changed, which is why Jesus foresaw how the pride of men would unfold in the &#8220;end times.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">&#8230;many will be led into sin; they will betray and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and deceive many; and because of the increase of evildoing, the love of many will grow cold. (Matt 24:10-12)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That is, a brief <em>reign of fear and terror<\/em> would come, <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_31396_1('footnote_plugin_reference_31396_1_2');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_31396_1('footnote_plugin_reference_31396_1_2');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_31396_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[2]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_31396_1_2\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. Rev 13<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_31396_1_2').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_31396_1_2', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> until the Lord puts an end to it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE WORST CHASTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>According to a recent poll, a majority of Americans\u00a0believe their country is &#8220;going to hell in a handbasket.&#8221; The same poll found that voters on both sides of the political spectrum believe that people are more rude than ever. <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_31396_1('footnote_plugin_reference_31396_1_3');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_31396_1('footnote_plugin_reference_31396_1_3');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_31396_1_3\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[3]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_31396_1_3\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/blog-briefing-room\/353044-poll-voters-say-world-is-going-to-hell-in-a-handbasket\">thehill.com<\/a>, Sept. 29th<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_31396_1_3').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_31396_1_3', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> It&#8217;s safe to assume that this is being seen all over the world, if we are to believe the daily headlines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">&#8230;there will be terrifying times in the last days. People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious, callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. (2 Tim 3:1-5)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At a conference I spoke at recently, one of the speakers said\u2014to the applause of the audience\u2014that he believes &#8220;the <em>chastisement<\/em> has already begun.&#8221; In Catholic prophecy-speak, &#8220;the chastisement&#8221; refers to God&#8217;s judgment upon the nations. However, I think the worst chastisement is not what God could do, but that <em>He would simply do nothing<\/em>. That <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-31405\" style=\"margin: 1px 2px 1px 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/weepinglady23.jpg\" width=\"264\" height=\"353\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/weepinglady23.jpg 475w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/weepinglady23-224x300.jpg 224w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 264px) 100vw, 264px\" \/>the Father would allow this poor humanity to continue on its course of self-destruction, much like the prodigal son.\u00a0It is not the prospect that fire may fall from heaven that is troubling to me, but that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2017\/04\/10\/a-time-to-weep\/\">men themselves would rain down fire<\/a> upon each other with their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2017\/04\/07\/the-hour-of-the-sword\/\">nuclear weapons<\/a>; that we would continue\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2017\/02\/10\/the-great-poisoning\/\">The Great Poisoning<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>of our children and grandchildren; that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/07\/the-crisis-of-the-refugee-crisis\/\">Islam would continue to spread its Jihad against freedom<\/a>; that <a href=\"https:\/\/zenit.org\/articles\/textbook-ethnic-cleansing-in-myanmar-and-the-world-simply-stands-idly-by\/\">ethnic cleansing<\/a> would continue to rage; that Satan would continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/26\/hell-unleashed\/\">possess and inspire lone terrorists<\/a>; that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2015\/03\/19\/the-hunted\/\">pornography<\/a> would continue to destroy our young men and fathers; that the Church would continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2017\/05\/11\/the-great-harvest\/\">compromise and quarrel<\/a>; that progressive governments would continue to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/29\/the-hour-of-lawlessness\/\">re-write the natural law<\/a> while banning freedom of speech and religion; that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2016\/12\/19\/capitalism-and-the-beast\/\">corporations would continue to exploit and manipulate<\/a>; that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/20\/mystery-babylon\/\">economies would continue to oppress and enslave<\/a>. (Ezekiel 18:25)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to visionaries I have spoken to and read from all over the world, we are now entering into the long-foretold &#8220;decisive times&#8221; that Heaven has been warning about for centuries. The fact that it is 2017, and I am even able to write these words today, is a sign that God has been incredibly merciful to us in what are surely the most rebellious times since Noah.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE NEW BIRTH<\/p>\n<p>But here is where you and I, dear reader, must gather our strength and courage and refocus our eyes on the\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2013\/05\/04\/the-triumph\/\">triumph<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that is coming. How many machinations of ruin they are preparing! They will go so far as to exhaust themselves in evil.
