First published December 1st, 2017… a message of hope and victory.<\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

WHEN\u00a0<\/strong>the sun sets, even though it is the beginning of nightfall, we enter into a\u00a0vigil.\u00a0<\/em>It is the anticipation of a new dawn. Every Saturday evening, the Catholic Church celebrates a vigil Mass precisely in anticipation of the “day of the Lord”\u2014Sunday\u2014even though our communal prayer is made on the threshold of midnight and the deepest darkness.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I believe this is the period that we are living now\u2014that\u00a0vigil<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>that “anticipates” if not hastens the Day of the Lord. And just as dawn<\/em>\u00a0announces the rising Sun, so too, there is a dawn before the Day of the Lord. That dawn is the\u00a0Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.\u00a0<\/em>In fact, there are signs already that this dawn is approaching….<\/p>\n

STARTLING STATEMENTS<\/p>\n

On November 14th, 2017, one of the seers of the famed apparitions at Medjugorje (which the Ruini Commission, appointed by Pope Benedict, reportedly approved in its first stages<\/a>) stirred some waves during her testimony in St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna:<\/p>\n

I believe that with this year, as she said, begins the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart. <\/strong>\u2014Marija Pavlovic-Lunetti, <\/span>Marytv.tv<\/a>; comment is made at 1:27:20 in the video<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Due to poor communication where the English translator stumbles, the initial translation was that this<\/em> year\u20142017\u2014the Immaculate Heart would triumph. However, to many of us, this sounded incorrect for a number of obvious reasons. Indeed, it has since been confirmed<\/a>\u00a0that what Marija said is that she believes it “begins” this year.<\/p>\n

Five months earlier, Our Lady said in a message to Mirjana, one of the six seers:<\/p>\n

\n

This time is a turning point. That is why I am calling you anew to faith and hope… My motherly heart desires for you, apostles of my love, to be little lights of the world, to illuminate there where darkness wants to begin to reign, to show the true way by your prayer and love, to save souls. I am with you. Thank you.<\/strong><\/em> \u2014June 2, 2017<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The year before, Mirjana had written in her autobiography:<\/p>\n

Our Lady told me many things that I cannot yet reveal. For now, I can only hint at what our future holds, but I do see indications that the events are already in motion. Things are slowly starting to develop. As Our Lady says, look at the signs of the times, and pray.<\/strong>\u2014My Heart Will Triumph, <\/em>p. 369;\u00a0 CatholicShop Publishing, 2016<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For seers who have been extremely tight-lipped for over three decades on giving any<\/em> kind of indication on the timing of coming events (beyond that they will happen within their lifetimes), these are fairly significant statements. Nonetheless, they should be properly discerned along with the rest of the “signs of the times” and always set into the proper context: what God asks of us now is the same as always\u2014to simply be faithful to Him in all things.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And then there is this blunt insight from Patriarch Kirill, Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, who also sees crucial developments on the horizon:<\/p>\n

…we are entering a critical period in the course of human civilization. This can already be seen with the naked eye. You have to be blind not to notice the approaching awe-inspiring moments in history that the apostle and evangelist John was talking about in the Book of Revelation. <\/strong>\u2014<\/em>Christ the Savior Cathedral, Moscow;\u00a0November 20th, 2017; rt.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

His commentary on the times was followed by that of Cardinal Raymond Burke, a member of the\u00a0Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura:<\/p>\n

…there is a feeling that in today\u2019s world that is based on secularism with a completely anthropocentric approach, by which we think we can create our own meaning of life and meaning of the family and so on, the Church itself seems to be confused. In that sense one may have the feeling that the Church gives the appearance of being unwilling to obey the mandates of Our Lord. Then perhaps we have arrived at the End Times.<\/strong> \u2014Catholic Herald,<\/em><\/a> Nov. 30th, 2017<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What other signs, exactly, do these souls see?<\/p>\n

THE “SIGNS OF THE TIMES”<\/p>\n

I think we can understand better what is here and coming if I briefly recap what the early Church Fathers taught. And that is that the “Day of the Lord” is not a twenty-four hour day, but a symbol of a period of time in the future when Christ would reign in a decisive way in His Church. They saw this “Day” as represented by the “thousand years” spoken of in the Book of Revelation after the death of Antichrist and the chaining of Satan. [1]<\/sup><\/a>cf. Rev 20:1-6<\/span><\/span>
