Even now, we see how the Father is using the first significant gusts of this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/29\/the-seven-seals-of-revolution\/\">Great Storm<\/a> to <em>purify, cleanse, <\/em>and <em>prepare <\/em>the Bride of Christ for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2019\/12\/06\/jesus-is-coming\/\">His coming<\/a> to dwell and reign within her in an all new manner. As the first hard labour pains begin to contract, already, an awakening has begun and souls are beginning to think again about the purpose of life and their ultimate destination. Already, the Voice of the Good Shepherd, calling to His lost sheep, can be heard in the whirlwind&#8230;<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Come to Me all you who are weary, and I will give you rest.<\/em> (cf. Matt 11:28)<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Rest from the restlessness of the human will. Rest from the tiresome yoke of guilt. Rest from the ceaseless hungers of the flesh. Rest from the Fear that says, &#8220;You are not loved. You are not worthy to be loved. You can never be loved.&#8221; But He, who <em>is<\/em> our Rest says:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>I AM LOVE. And neither anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword&#8230; neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate you from My love.<\/em> (cf. Rom 8:35-38)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That love has been expressed to us in an unforeseen provision in this turbulent times. Hearing the cry of the lambs, Christ, through Pope Francis, exercising his authority as the successor of Peter to &#8220;bind and loose&#8221; on earth,<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_39938_1('footnote_plugin_reference_39938_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_39938_1('footnote_plugin_reference_39938_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_39938_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_39938_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. Matt 18:18; John 20:23<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_39938_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_39938_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> has granted the faithful a <em>daily <\/em>Plenary Indulgence, that is, complete remission of their sins (and temporal punishment) under the following conditions:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">The <i>Plenary Indulgence<\/i> is granted to the faithful suffering from Coronavirus, who are subject to quarantine by order of the health authority in hospitals <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">or in their own homes<\/span> if, with a spirit detached from any sin, they unite spiritually through the media to the celebration of Holy Mass, the recitation of <img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-24749 alignright\" style=\"margin: 1px 2px 1px 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/LastDropofBlood.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"289\" height=\"293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/LastDropofBlood.jpg 477w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/LastDropofBlood-296x300.jpg 296w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 289px) 100vw, 289px\" \/>the Holy Rosary, to the pious practice of the Way of the Cross or other forms of devotion, or if at least they will recite the Creed, the Lord&#8217;s Prayer and a pious invocation to the Blessed Virgin Mary, offering this trial in a spirit of faith in God and charity towards their brothers and sisters, with the will to fulfill the usual conditions (sacramental <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">confession<\/span>, Eucharistic <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">communion<\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">prayer<\/span> according to the Holy Father&#8217;s intentions), <em>as soon as possible<\/em>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Health care workers, family members and all those who, following the example of the Good Samaritan, exposing themselves to the risk of contagion, care for the sick of Coronavirus according to the words of the divine Redeemer: <em>\u201cGreater love has no one than this: to lay down one\u2019s life for one\u2019s friends\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">(<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><i>Jn<\/i><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> 15: 13)<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">, will obtain the same gift of the <i>Plenary Indulgence<\/i> under the same conditions.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>This Apostolic Penitentiary also willingly grants a <i>Plenary Indulgence<\/i> under the same conditions on the occasion of the current world epidemic, also to those faithful who offer a visit to the Blessed Sacrament, or Eucharistic adoration, or reading the Holy Scriptures for at least half an hour, or the recitation of the Holy Rosary, or the pious exercise of the Way of the Cross, or the recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, to implore from Almighty God the end of the epidemic, relief for those who are afflicted and eternal salvation for those whom the Lord has called to Himself.<\/strong> \u2014<a href=\"http:\/\/press.vatican.va\/content\/salastampa\/en\/bollettino\/pubblico\/2020\/03\/20\/200320c.html\">Decree of the Apostolic Penitentiary<\/a>, March 20, 2020<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Let each of us then to whom this applies, moved by the Spirit, take advantage of this grace as often as possible and understand that this comprises <em>part of the preparation <\/em>of the Bride of Christ in these days.<\/p>\n<p>With that, I heartily recommend the prayer of the <em>Divine Mercy Chaplet<\/em>, as recommended above. For in this prayer, handed to the Church through St. Faustina, each person exercises their <em>spiritual priesthood <\/em>in Christ by offering to the Father <em>&#8220;the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins, and those of the whole world.&#8221; <\/em>The Storm that has arrived cannot be stopped; but souls <em>can be won! <\/em>And that, really, is <em>why<\/em> the Storm has come. As Jesus <img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5858 alignleft\" style=\"margin: 1px 4px 1px 4px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Christgrievingoverworld.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"289\" height=\"433\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Christgrievingoverworld.jpg 469w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/Christgrievingoverworld-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 289px) 100vw, 289px\" \/>said to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em><strong>My daughter, I am not concerned about the cities, the great things of the earth\u2014I am concerned about souls. I saw him weep in horror, cry out to the Father, tremble in astonishment&#8230; and at last, worship in utter amazement as the work of Redemption found its fulfillment in the Resurrection. Oh, what a gift that I will never forget!
