The discoveries of our universe, whether the intricacies of DNA or the passing of comets, continue to fascinate. How things work, why they work, where they come from\u2014these are perennial questions from deep within the human heart. We want to know and understand our world. And at one time, we even wanted to know the One\u00a0<\/em>behind it, as Einstein himself stated:<\/p>\n I want to know how God created this world, I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details.<\/strong> \u2014The Life and Times of Einstein, <\/em>Ronald W. Whereas the science greats of the past believed in God, like Copernicus, Kepler, Pascal, Newton, Mendel, Mercalli, Boyle, Planck, Riccioli, Ampere, Coulomb, etc…. today, science and faith are seen as antithetical. Atheism is practically a prerequisite to put on a lab coat. Now, there is not only no room for God, but even nature’s<\/em> gifts are scorned.<\/p>\n I think part of the answer is that scientists cannot bear the thought of a natural phenomenon which cannot be explained, even with unlimited time and money. There is a kind At this point, however, the scientific community\u2014at least those who control its narrative\u2014has indeed reached the highest peak, and it is the height of arrogance.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n THE HEIGHT OF ARROGANCE<\/p>\n The COVID-19 crisis has not only unveiled the fragility of human life and the illusory security of our “systems,” but the omnipotence being assigned to science. Perhaps this was no better enunciated than by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who boasted as virus deaths slightly\u00a0<\/em>improved in his state:<\/p>\n God did not do that. Faith did not do that. Destiny did not do that. A lot of pain and suffering did that\u2026That\u2019s how it works. When that happens, the scientist has lost control. If he really examined the implications, he would be traumatized.
