I LOVE<\/strong> the image of this little boy. Truly, when we let God love us, we begin to know true joy. I just wrote a meditation<\/a> on this, particularly for those who are scrupulous (see Related Reading below).\u00a0<\/p>\n

But today, I am making my annual appeal to all my readers for your prayers and financial support to continue this work. Right now, we are working\u00a0one year at a time.\u00a0<\/em>God has not asked me to do anything different, and so I will continue to pray, write, and research through these current events until the Lord says otherwise. I confess, I am tempted at times lately to just fold my tent and go live out in the woods, work with my hands, and leave behind this incredibly dysfunctional world of ours. But then, Jesus didn’t throw up His hands and return to His carpentry. He gave, and bled, until the very last drop.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Frankly, I don’t know if I could go on without the letters, prayers, and support I’ve received, especially lately. In fact, I am taken aback how so many have written saying that this apostolate is keeping them sane and helping them to stay with Christ and His Church. That, truly, is all I want to hear. Every day, I pray that none of you would be lost, that He would protect you and watch over you. What joy it will be to see each of you in Heaven where we can laugh, hug, and cry and say, “We made it! We persevered. It is beyond worth it!”\u00a0<\/p>\n

I know my writings are too long, so I will keep this short. I know these are hard times. With inflation, many of you are feeling more pinched than ever. As a result, those of us who rely on donations are the first to feel the hit. Several people have written recently to say that they can no longer afford to support this ministry. I understand and I would never\u00a0<\/em>want to burden any of you. At the same time, I knew this would happen. Lea and I have poured every penny into this ministry for years. We have no savings. We have no backup \u2014 except God, who has our back. At the same time, having launched two brand new websites this year,[1]<\/sup><\/a>Countdown to the Kingdom<\/a>\u00a0and Wait a Minute<\/a><\/span><\/span>
