Now, Ezekiel is a prophet that played a significant role at the beginning of my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/called-to-the-wall\/\">personal calling<\/a> into this writing apostolate. It was this passage, in fact, that gently pushed me from fear into action:<!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">If the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, so that the people are not warned, and the sword comes, and takes any one of them; that man is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman\u2019s hand. (Ezekiel 33:6)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Seventeen years later, I continue to remain in a place of mystery and amazement as to the things I&#8217;ve been compelled to write, as we now see the &#8220;Great Storm&#8221; the Lord spoke to me of unfolding pretty much as literally written in Revelation Chapter 6.<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/its-happening\/\">It&#8217;s Happening<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE EXILES<\/p>\n<p>But a month ago, another passage from Ezekiel was laid upon my heart:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">The word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, you live in the midst of a rebellious house; they have eyes to see, but do not see, and ears to hear but do not hear. They are such a rebellious house! Now, son of man, during the day while they watch, pack a bag for exile, and again while they watch, go into exile from your place to another place; perhaps they will see that they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 12:1-3)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At the same time, both my wife and I felt a stirring happening. I was even going through our farm and organizing things, throwing out or giving away anything we didn&#8217;t need \u2014 simplifying without really knowing why. Then, in a flash, a small farm in another province came onto the market. We both felt God calling us there&#8230; and through one miracle after another, we are being called to move. We have poured our hearts into our present little farm, built practically from the ground up. There are so many memories here where we have raised our eight children&#8230; yet through tears, today, we are digging out our boxes and beginning to pack \u2014 in broad daylight \u2014 as soon as I finish this article.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">During the day, while they watch, bring out your bag, an exile\u2019s bag. In the evening, again while they watch, go out as if into exile. (Ezekiel 12:4)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Look, I hardly understand all this myself. It has been a whirlwind the past few weeks; either we are crazy to uproot at this time in the world\u2014 or this is a brilliant move by the Divine. But it reminds me, too, of one of the first &#8220;now words&#8221; that the Lord gave me years ago<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_2');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_2');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[2]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_2\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">see <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-hour-of-the-exiles\/\">The Hour of the Exiles<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_2').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_2', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> after hurricane Katrina made a direct hit on Lousiana:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><i>\u201cNew Orleans was a microcosm of what is to come\u2026 you are now in the calm before the Storm.\u201d\u00a0<\/i>When Hurricane Katrina struck, many residents found themselves in exile. It did not matter if you were rich or poor, white or black, clergy or layman \u2014if you were in its path, you had to move\u00a0<i>now<\/i>. There is a global \u201cshake up\u201d coming, and it will produce in certain regions exiles.<\/strong>\u00a0(see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-coming-refuges-and-solitudes\/\"><i>The Coming Refuges and Solitudes<\/i><\/a>) \u2014 from\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-hour-of-the-exiles\/\">The Hour of the Exiles<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">See! The Lord is about to empty the earth and lay it waste;\u00a0he will twist its surface,and scatter its inhabitants:\u00a0People and priest shall fare alike:\u00a0servant and master,\u00a0Maid and mistress,\u00a0buyer and seller,\u00a0Lender and borrower,\u00a0creditor and debtor. (Isaiah 24:1-2)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-seven-seals-of-revolution\/\"><em>The Seven Seals of Revolution<\/em><\/a> literally unfold before our eyes, we are already seeing the displacement of millions of Ukrainians, for example, from that one regional conflict. What will happen when war, famine, and further biological weapons are released upon a hapless world? There will be exiles, <em>everywhere<\/em>. Of course, I am horrified by what I am writing; there is not an ounce of my soul attempting to be melodramatic. But it is clear that many of our global leaders have abandoned their people in order to participate in the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-great-reset\/\">Great Reset\u201d<\/a>: higher carbon taxes, rising fuel costs, food shortages&#8230; this is all happening under their watch, and they are unphased by it. Why? Because, in their hubris, they believe we must destroy the present order &#8220;for the common good&#8221; in order to &#8220;build back better&#8221; \u2014 and this means destroying the middle class, enriching the top (so that they have the resources to rule us, of course), and making the rest of us &#8220;equal&#8221;.<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_3');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_3');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_3\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[3]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_3\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/isaiahs-prophecy-of-communism\/\">Isaiah&#8217;s Prophecy of Global Communism<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_3').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_3', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> Our Lady has been warning us for years that Communism would return.<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_4');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_4');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_4\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[4]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_4\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/when-communism-returns\/\"><em>When Communism Returns<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_4').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_4', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script>\u00a0How are they doing this? <em>Ordo ab chaos<\/em> (&#8220;order out of chaos\u201d) is the Masonic <em>modus operandi<\/em>. Rom 13:1<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_5').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_5', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> and so it is my duty not to curse them but pray for their salvation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">THE DAYS AHEAD<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">And so, there is going to be a certain &#8220;chaos&#8221; in the Mallett family over at least the next couple of months as we go &#8220;into exile&#8221; from our comfort zone. I hope to be able to share the odd &#8220;now word&#8221; here and there during this move, but I cannot make any promises (although, I already have a &#8220;word&#8221; on my heart I hope to pen shortly&#8230;.). What will not cease are my daily prayers and love for each and every one of you.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>The days of exile are upon us<\/em>. It will look different from family to family. For some, we will eventually be called into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-refuge-for-our-times\/\">refuges<\/a>; others are already there; and for all of us, it is primarily a <em>spiritual <\/em>refuge.<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_6');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_47224_1('footnote_plugin_reference_47224_1_6');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_6\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[6]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_6\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-refuge-for-our-times\/\"><em>The Refuge for Our Times<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_47224_1_6').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_47224_1_6', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> And yet, others will be called into great sacrifices for the sake of the Gospel. What matters is that we remain steadfastly in the Divine Will, no matter what. Heaven&#8230; <em>keep your eyes on Heaven.\u00a0<\/em>That is where we are destined, and when we are there, all of this will seem but a blink in eternity. So do not be worried or anxious about anything; instead&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Pray for us&#8230; as we will for you.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">The word of the LORD came to me: <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Son of man, listen!
