I wade through a mud pond, waist deep… prayers, sinking like lead.  <\/p>\n

I trudge. I collapse. <\/p>\n

            I fall.       <\/p>\n

                Fall. <\/p>\n

                    Falling.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

"Counted with the damned, ye are" sayeth Discouragement, my only companion.
 <\/p>\n

        "You are loved<\/em>," says a voice from above.
 <\/p>\n

Faith informs me: <\/p>\n

      The darkness is just a night. <\/em><\/p>\n

        The Day is coming.<\/em><\/p>\n

        His Word is a promise. His promise is His Word.<\/em><\/p>\n

       Mud turns to clay. Clay turns to road. The road leads to Life. <\/em>
 <\/p>\n

I stand. <\/p>\n

    I trudge. <\/p>\n

        I will<\/em> keep moving<\/em>. Moving toward Mercy, waiting patiently, at the edge of this inner bog. <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Goodnight Discouragement. I already have a Companion. <\/p>\n
