But what does He mean? It is I who communicate it to your soul in a compenetration which cannot be comprehended: it is the grace of graces\u2026 It is a union of the same nature as that of the union of heaven, except that in paradise the veil which conceals the Divinity disappears\u2026 <\/strong><\/em>\u2014Jesus to Venerable Conchita, cited in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/danieloconnor.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/the-crown-and-completion-of-all-sanctity.pdf\">The Crown and Completion of All Sanctities<\/a>, <\/em>by Daniel O\u2019Connor, p. 11-12; nb. Ronda Chervin, <em>Walk with Me, Jesus<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>To Luisa, Jesus says it is the <em>crown<\/em> of all sanctities, analogous to the <em>consecration <\/em>that takes place at Mass:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Throughout her writings Luisa presents the gift of Living in the Divine Will as a new and divine indwelling in the soul, which she refers to as the \u201cReal Life\u201d of Christ. The Real Life of Christ consists primarily of the soul\u2019s continuous participation in the life of Jesus in the Eucharist. While God may become substantially present in an inanimate host, Luisa affirms that the same may be said of an animate subject, i.e., the human soul.<\/strong> \u2014<em>The Gift of Living in the Divine Will, <\/em>theologian Rev. Iannuzzi, n. 4.1.21, p. 119<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: trebuchet ms, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><i><strong>Have you seen what living in My Will is?\u2026 It is to enjoy, while remaining on earth, all the Divine qualities\u2026 It is the Sanctity not yet known, and which I will make known, which will set in place the last ornament, the most beautiful and most brilliant among all the other sanctities, and that will be the crown and completion of all other sanctities.<\/strong> \u2014<\/i>Jesus to Servant of God Luisa Picarretta, <i>The Gift of Living in the Divine Will<\/i>, n. 4.1.2.1.1 A <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In case anyone thinks this is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/new-holiness-or-new-heresy\/\">novel idea<\/a> or an addendum to Public Revelation, they would be mistaken. She was allowed to wear a bright, clean linen garment.\u00a0(Rev 19:7-8)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>A Magisterial Prophecy<\/h5>\n<p>This &#8220;third renewal&#8221; is ultimately the fulfillment of the &#8220;Our Father.&#8221; It is the coming of His Kingdom &#8220;on earth as it is in Heaven&#8221; \u2014 an <em>interior <\/em>reign of Christ in the Church that is at once to be a &#8220;restoration of all things in Christ&#8221;<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_5');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_5');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_5\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[5]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_5\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. Matt 24:14<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_6').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_6', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: trebuchet ms, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>\u201cAnd they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.\u201d<\/em> May God\u2026 shortly bring to fulfillment His prophecy for transforming this consoling vision of the future into a present reality\u2026 It is God\u2019s task to bring about this happy hour and to make it known to all\u2026 When it does arrive, it will turn out to be a solemn hour, one big with consequences not only for the restoration of the Kingdom of Christ, but for the pacification of\u2026 the world&#8230;. We pray most fervently, and ask others likewise to pray for this much-desired pacification of society.<\/strong> \u2014POPE PIUS XI,<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vatican.va\/content\/pius-xi\/en\/encyclicals\/documents\/hf_p-xi_enc_19221223_ubi-arcano-dei-consilio.html\"> Ubi Arcani dei Consilioi<\/a> \u201cOn the Peace of Christ in his Kingdom\u201d<\/em>, December 23, 1922<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Again, the root of this apostolic prophecy comes from the Early Church Fathers who foresaw this &#8220;pacification of society&#8221; as taking place during a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-coming-sabbath-rest\/\">sabbath rest<\/a>,&#8221; that symbolic &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-thousand-years\/\">thousand years<\/a>&#8221; spoken of by St. John in <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-49490\" style=\"margin: 1px 2px 1px 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bride23.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"351\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bride23.jpg 1205w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bride23-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bride23-1024x1020.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bride23-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/bride23-768x765.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\" \/>Revelation 20 when <em>&#8220;justice and peace shall kiss.&#8221;<\/em> <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_7');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_7');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_7\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[7]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_7\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Psalm 85:11<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_7').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_7', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> The early apostolic writing, the Epistle of Barnabas, taught that this &#8220;rest&#8221; was intrinsic to the sanctification of the Church:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: trebuchet ms, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>Therefore, my children, in six days, that is, in six thousand years, all things will be finished. <em>&#8220;And He rested on the seventh day.&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0 This means: when His Son, coming [again], shall destroy the time of the wicked man, and judge the ungodly, and change the sun, and the moon, and the stars, then shall He truly rest on the seventh day. Moreover, He says, <em>&#8220;You shall sanctify it with pure hands and a pure heart.&#8221;<\/em> If, therefore, any one can now sanctify the day which God has sanctified, except he is pure in heart in all things, we are deceived. Behold, therefore: certainly then one properly resting sanctifies it, when we ourselves, having received the promise, wickedness no longer existing, and all things having been made new by the Lord, shall be able to work righteousness. Then we shall be able to sanctify it, having been first sanctified ourselves.<\/strong> \u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newadvent.org\/fathers\/0124.htm\">Epistle of Barnabas<\/a> (70-79 A.D.), Ch. 15, written by a second century Apostolic Father<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Again, the Fathers are not speaking of eternity but of a period of peace toward the end of human history when the Word of God will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-vindication-of-wisdom\/\">vindicated<\/a>. The &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-day-of-justice\/\">day of the Lord<\/a>&#8221; is both a purification of the wicked from the face of the earth <em>and<\/em> a reward to the faithful: the <em>&#8220;meek shall inherit the earth&#8221; <\/em><span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_8');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_8');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_8\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[8]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_8\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Matt 5:5<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_8').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_8', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> and His <em>&#8220;tabernacle may be rebuilt in you with joy.&#8221; <\/em><span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_9');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_9');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_9\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[9]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_9\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Tobit 13:10<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_9').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_9', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> St. Augustine warned that this teaching was acceptable so long as it is understood, not in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/millenarianism-what-it-is-and-is-not\/\">millenarianist<\/a> false hope, but as a period of spiritual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-resurrection-of-the-church\/\">resurrection<\/a> for the Church:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>\u2026as if it were a fit thing that the saints should thus enjoy a kind of Sabbath-rest during that period [of a \u201cthousand years\u201d], a holy leisure after the labors of six thousand years since man was created\u2026 [and] there should follow on the completion of six thousand years, as of six days, a kind of seventh-day Sabbath in the succeeding thousand years\u2026 And this opinion would not be objectionable, if it were believed that the joys of the saints, in that Sabbath, shall be <em>spiritual<\/em>, and consequent on the presence of God\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014St. Augustine of Hippo (354-430 A.D.; Church Doctor),\u00a0<em>De Civitate Dei<\/em>, Bk. XX, Ch. 7, Catholic University of America Presss<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So when the Epistle of Barnabas says that wickedness will no longer exist, this must be understood in the full context of Scripture and magisterial teaching. It does not mean the end of free will but, rather, the <em>end of the night of the human will\u00a0<\/em>that produces darkness \u2014 at least, for a time.<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_10');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_49483_1('footnote_plugin_reference_49483_1_10');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_49483_1_10\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[10]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_49483_1_10\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">ie. until Satan is released from the abyss in which he is chained during his period; cf.
