IN<\/strong> 2012, as my flight soared above California, I felt the Spirit urging me to read Revelation Chapters 17-18. As I began to read, it was as though a veil was lifting on this arcane book, like another page of thin tissue turning to reveal a bit more of the mysterious image of the \u201cend times.” The word \u201capocalypse\u201d means, in fact, the unveiling<\/em>.<\/p>\n

What I read began to put America into a completely new biblical light. <\/em>As I researched the historical foundations of that country, I could not help but see it as perhaps the most worthy candidate of what St. John called “mystery babylon” (read Mystery Babylon<\/em><\/a>). Since then, two recent trends seem to cement that view…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

America Loved… and Hated<\/h5>\n

I have probably travelled throughout the United States more than most Americans. It is truly a paradise with its temperate climate, abundant resources, and above all, warm and fiery remnant of Catholics. It is also Americans, by and large, who have enabled me to devote the last 19 years to this full-time apostolate through their generous prayers and support. The Christian foundations of America continue to shine, despite the darkness that has descended upon that country.<\/p>\n

Sir Francis Bacon<\/p><\/div>\n

But the foundations of America, as I read years ago, were also Masonic<\/em>. Sir Francis Bacon is considered the father of modern science and the grandfather of Freemasonry. He believed through knowledge or science, mankind could transform himself or the world into its highest state of enlightenment (just consider how the slogan “The Science”\u2122 played such a central role in defining American and global policy over the past three years!).
