The Sun of Justice is rising. He comes, the Rider Upon the White Horse!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><br \/> THE<\/strong> call to the Bastion (see <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2008\/08\/to-the-bastion\/\">To the Bastion!<\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2008\/08\/to-the-bastion\/\">) <\/a>is a call to come to Jesus, the Rock, in the Blessed Sacrament, and there, to wait with Our Blessed Mother for the Battle orders. <em>It is a time of intense preparation<\/em>, not anxious, but intense\u2014by fasting, frequent Confession, the Rosary, and attending Mass whenever one can, so as to be in a state of childlike attentiveness. And do not forget <em>love<\/em>, my friends, which without with all the others are empty. For I believe the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/the-seven-seals-of-revolution\/\"><em>Seals of Revelation<\/em><\/a> are about to be broken by the &#8220;Lamb who seemed to have been slain&#8221;, as St. John foresaw it in chapters 5-6 in the Apocalypse.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the current signs of the times as 2012 enter its final seasons: as war brews in the Middle East, the <em>second seal <\/em>seems to speak of global war; as the United Nations warns of a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/global-development\/2012\/oct\/14\/un-global-food-crisis-warning\">global food crisis in 2013<\/a>, the <em>third seal<\/em> speaks of food rationing; as mysterious diseases and outbreaks are popping up all over the world, the <em>fourth seal<\/em> speaks of plagues and further famine and chaos; as the United States, Canada, and many other countries begin to move to curtail freedom of speech and thought, the <em>fifth seal <\/em>speaks of persecution. All of this leads to the <em>sixth seal, <\/em>which as I&#8217;ve written before, appears very much to be some kind of &#8220;illumination of conscience&#8221; of the entire world (cf. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/the-illumination-revelation\/\"><em>Revelation Illumination<\/em><\/a>)\u2014a great gift to humanity\u00a0 before the door of Mercy closes, and the door of Justice opens <em>wide<\/em> (cf. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/the-doors-of-faustina\/\">The Doors of Faustina<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>As I consider that the words below were first written in October of 2007, one can&#8217;t help but thank God that we have had these past five years to further prepare our hearts for the Great Storm that is now unfolding in our time&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">THE PAINFUL PURIFICATION<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This week, I have been hearing these words:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\"><em>You are entering the most painful part of the purification. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">Yet at that same time, I sense a great <em>anticipation<\/em>. For as I wrote in <a href=\"\/blog\/?p=518\"><em>Look to the East!<\/em><\/a> I believe there is going to be a manifestation of Jesus related to the Blessed Sacrament which will awaken the world to His Eucharistic Presence. Indeed, the &#8220;warning&#8221; which saints and mystics have spoken of is an interior illumination of one&#8217;s conscience triggered, perhaps, by the vision of <em>Jesus crucified, <\/em>a visual reproduction of the Eucharistic Sacrifice:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky, and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u2014<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">St. Faustina<\/span><em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">, Diary of Divine Mercy, <\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-size: small;\">n. 83<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">In this regard, is not the warning at Fatima also related? <span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_519_1('footnote_plugin_reference_519_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_519_1('footnote_plugin_reference_519_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_519_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_519_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/2010\/09\/debunking-the-sun-miracle-skeptics\/\">Debunking the Sun Miracle Skeptics<\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_519_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_519_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> Tens of thousands of believers and pagans alike gathered on October 13th, 1917, and witnessed the sun begin to spin and change colors. It was described as a &#8220;disc&#8221;.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Then, suddenly, one heard a clamor, a cry of anguish breaking from all the people. The sun, whirling wildly, seemed all at once to loosen itself from the firmament and, blood red, advance threateningly upon the earth as if to crush us with its huge and fiery weight. The sensation during those moments was truly terrible. All the phenomena which I have described were observed by me in a calm and serene state of mind without any emotional disturbance. It is for others to interpret and explain them. <\/strong>\u2014Professor Almeida Garrett, <em>Novos Documentos de Fatima<\/em> (Loyala editions, San Paulo, 1984)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">And today, many around the world have related seeing again this &#8220;miracle of the sun&#8221; at famous apparitions sites, often describing the miracle as a &#8220;Eucharistic Host&#8221; or disc spinning in the sky, and sometimes falling to the earth as thought it were a <em>warning<\/em>. Why a warning? Because as the Eucharistic Reign of Jesus approaches, so too does His Justice. His reign will be one of peace, not <em>chaos<\/em>. This present chaos must come to an end. The hope that is coming is going be born in the pain of suffering and purification&#8230; like childbirth.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: courier new,courier;\">Amen, amen, I say to you, you will weep and mourn, while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy. When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world. (John 16:20-21)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"left\">And so then, one sees the purpose of the Seals: <em>they are the arrival of a merciful judgment to shake souls from their complacency into conversion<\/em>. They are the &#8220;labor pains&#8221; that bring about the &#8220;last times&#8221; of the Church. For as the world is plunged into war, famine, plagues, and earthquakes, many souls will turn at last to Jesus, present in the Eucharist, and repent. This is why you are called to the Bastion<em>. You are being readied to meet and love many souls and point them to the &#8220;<a href=\"\/blog\/?p=518\">source and summit<\/a>&#8221; of their existence: Jesus.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Sun of Justice is coming&#8230; and the first signs of Dawn are here.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE &#8220;END TIME&#8221; DEVOTIONS<\/p>\n<p>While the revelations of the merciful Heart of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647-1690 A.D.) and St. Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938) were separated by three centuries, they have a common theme: <em>devotion to the Heart of Jesus will be a sign of the end times.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">I understood that devotion to the Sacred Heart is a last effort of His Love towards Christians of these latter times, by proposing to them an object and means so calculated to persuade them to love Him.<\/span><\/strong> \u2014<span style=\"font-size: small;\">St. Margaret Mary, <em>Antichrist and the End Times,<\/em> Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi, p. 65<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This devotion was the last effort of His love that He would grant to men in these latter ages, in order to withdraw them from the empire of Satan which He desired to destroy, and thus to introduce them into the sweet liberty of the rule of His love, which He wished to restore in the hearts of all those who should embrace this devotion.<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> \u2014St. Margaret Mary, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sacredheartdevotion.com\/\">www.sacredheartdevotion.com<\/a><br \/> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jesus appeared to St. Faustina with rays of light pouring from His Merciful Heart. From her Diary:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>I am prolonging the time of mercy for the sake of [sinners]\u2026. While there is still time, let them have recourse to the fount of My mercy\u2026 He who refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through the door of My justice.<\/em><\/strong> \u2014Diary of St Faustina, 1160, 848, 1146<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><em><strong>You will prepare the world for My final coming.<\/strong><\/em> \u2014Diary, n.429<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>And recall again the words of St. John Bosco in his famous dream of the two pillars:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>There will be chaos in the Church. Tranquility will not return until the Pope succeeds in anchoring the boat of Peter between the Twin Pillars of <em>Eucharistic devotion<\/em> and devotion to Our Lady.<em> <\/em><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\">\u2014<em>Forty Dreams of St. John Bosco<\/em>, compiled and edited by Fr. J. Bacchiarello, S.D.B.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The call to the Bastion is a call to <a href=\"\/blog\/?p=518\">look to the Eucharist<\/a>, <em>which is the Sacred Heart of Jesus<\/em>. To entrust our whole beings to Him who is our refuge.
