Immediately following that &#8220;word&#8221;, I sensed Our Lady say: <em>Do not be afraid.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When I arrived at home that evening, I opened an email from our translator with one of the latest messages from Italian seer, Angela, from Zaro, Italy posted on their diocesan website. My eyes fell on the words:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>Children, the hour of trial is near, but do not be afraid. <\/strong><\/em>\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.countdowntothekingdom.com\/angela-the-hour-of-trial-is-near\/\">February 26, 2025<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Of\u00a0 the &#8220;hour&#8221;&#8230;<\/h5>\n<p>This may sound to some like the &#8220;same ole, same ole.&#8221; After all, did we not hear Our Lady say to Servant of God Fr. Stefano Gobbi in 1977: <em>&#8220;&#8230;the whole Church is living through this hour of trial.&#8221;\u00a0<\/em><span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_1');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_1');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_1\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[1]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_1\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\"><em>To the Priests, Our Lady&#8217;s Beloved Sons,<\/em> n. 123d<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_1').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_1', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> So, is Our Lady contradicting herself? On the contrary, consider a pregnant mother whose water has broken and the first pangs of labor have begun. Is she wrong to say she is &#8220;in labor,&#8221; even if there are long hours between contractions?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Often, Our Lord would say, <em>&#8220;The hour is coming and already here&#8230;&#8221; <\/em><span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_2');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_2');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_2\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[2]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_2\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">eg. John 4:23, 5:23<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_2').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_2', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> to indicate both metaphorical and literal realities to come. Consider St. John&#8217;s words:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that the antichrist was coming, so now many antichrists have appeared. Thus we know <em>this is the last hour.<\/em><\/strong> (1 John 2:18)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>So there is the &#8220;hour&#8221; of the general epoch in which we have been living since the Ascension of Christ; there is the &#8220;hour&#8221; of general apostasy, through which we have been passing; and now, there is coming the &#8220;hour&#8221; of the Great Storm \u2014 the &#8220;hour of trial&#8221; or what I call &#8220;hard labor&#8221; \u2014 to push us into the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/dear-holy-father-he-is-coming\/\">Era of Peace<\/a>.&#8221; It is of this last hour that Jesus seems to be speaking in His revelations to St. John:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>Because you have kept my word of patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial which is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell upon the earth.<\/strong> <\/em>(Revelation 3:10)<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_52087\" style=\"width: 321px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52087\" class=\" wp-image-52087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/sulema-Gomez.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"311\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/sulema-Gomez.jpg 650w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/sulema-Gomez-259x300.jpg 259w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 311px) 100vw, 311px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-52087\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sulema Gomez<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This was echoed in messages to Sulema Gomez earlier this year that were just made public;<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_3');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_3');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_3\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[3]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_3\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">Born in El Salvador in 1954 but living in Quebec, Canada, Sulema Gomez has been receiving messages attributed by her to Jesus and the Virgin Mary for many years, which came to wider attention with the publication of three volumes of locutions received between 2010 and 2013, entitled I have come to prepare you for this event: the Illumination of Conscience. The title is a reference to the coming \u201cmini-judgment\u201d, also known as the Warning, prophesied by a considerable number of mystics over several decades, foretelling a unique occurrence in the history of humanity when all people on earth (with the exception of small children) will see their spiritual state as God sees it. <br \/>\n<br \/>One remarkable feature of Sulema\u2019s often lengthy locutions is that she delivers them orally in fluent, literary French \u2013 a language which, outside of the ecstasies in which the messages are received, she can only speak to a rudimentary level. <br \/>\n<br \/>After the publication of the third of these volumes, Sulema has continued to receive messages that are recorded by her husband Sabino (a former atheist who converted after a mystical experience in Medjugorje) but kept private. Since 2021, some locutions have nonetheless been made public on the internet by the specialist Swiss Francophone magazine Stella Maris and by Marcel and Christian Laflamme in Quebec. <br \/>\n<br \/>The Catholic Church has so far made no formal pronouncement on Sulema\u2019s messages, although she has been accompanied by priests who have prefaced her writings. Readers of contemporary private revelation will find many confirmations of material from other sources, with the overall eschatology being absolutely in line with the \u201cprophetic consensus\u201d of the most serious modern prophetic voices.<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_3').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_3', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> she&#8217;s an El Salvadorian seer who presently lives in Qu\u00e9bec, Canada. In messages that are a direct echo of those being given in Italy above, Our Lord allegedly says:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>May peace be in your hearts throughout this year that has just begun, so that you may remain calm in the face of all the trials throughout the year. Whatever happens, keep the faith in order to live out these words: \u201choping against hope.\u201d <\/strong><\/em>(Rom 4:18)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>Hope will be the golden key that will open your heart to hope for everything from God your Father: to listen to My words in the most difficult moments; to follow the \u201clight\u201d that the Holy Spirit will give you when you are surrounded by darkness, remaining within the \u201cMantle of My Mother\u201d so as to be safe during this time of tribulation, keeping your hand in her hand.<\/strong> \u2014January 3, 2025; <\/em>see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.countdowntothekingdom.com\/sulema-dark-days-are-coming-upon-humanity\/\"><em>Dark Days are Coming Upon Humanity<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Of this year, Our Lady allegedly said to Sulema:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>You will experience an exceptional year of graces during the Jubilee Year (2025) \u2014 but also because of all the suffering that will envelop the entire earth following devastating natural disasters, illnesses, or the scourge of war. <\/strong><\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>However, do not be afraid, you who have given my Son all the space in your lives so that He may grow within you, and who have accepted \u201cout of love\u201d to distance yourselves from that which can separate you from the love of God.<\/strong><\/em><span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_4');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_4');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_4\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[4]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_4\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">cf. Revelation 18:4-5: &#8220;Then I heard another voice from heaven say: &#8216;Depart from her [Babylon], my people, so as not to take part in her sins and receive a share in her plagues, for her sins are piled up to the sky, and God remembers her crimes.&#8221;<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_4').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_4', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script><em><strong>\u00a0You will see how you will be protected during the year, which will be very difficult to live through. <\/strong><\/em>\u2014January 11, 2025; see\u00a0<em>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.countdowntothekingdom.com\/sulema-an-exceptional-year-of-graces\/\">An Exceptional Year of Graces<\/a>&#8220;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>The Great Storm: Bracing for Impact<\/h5>\n<p>Three central themes on The Now Word and the over 1800 writings here could be summarized as such:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2022 <strong>The Church is facing her own Passion<\/strong>;<span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_5');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_5');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_5\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[5]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_5\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">&#8220;The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection.&#8221; \u2014<em>Catechism of the Catholic Church,\u00a0<\/em>n. 677.<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_5').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_5', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2022 <strong>The world is facing a Great Storm &#8220;like a hurricane&#8221;<\/strong> (see\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/brace-for-impact\/\"><em>Brace for Impact<\/em><\/a>).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u2022 After a &#8220;great purification,&#8221; <strong>the Church will enter her &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-resurrection-of-the-church\/\">resurrection<\/a>\u201d<\/strong><span class=\"footnote_referrer\"><a role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" onclick=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_6');\" onkeypress=\"footnote_moveToReference_52080_1('footnote_plugin_reference_52080_1_6');\" ><sup id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_6\" class=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text\">[6]<\/sup><\/a><span id=\"footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_6\" class=\"footnote_tooltip\">To Servant of God Fr. It must now enter into the precious moment of its redemptive passion, in preparation for its most beautiful rebirth.&#8221; \u2014January 1, 1980, n. 191<\/span><\/span><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> jQuery('#footnote_plugin_tooltip_52080_1_6').tooltip({ tip: '#footnote_plugin_tooltip_text_52080_1_6', tipClass: 'footnote_tooltip', effect: 'fade', predelay: 0, fadeInSpeed: 200, delay: 400, fadeOutSpeed: 200, position: 'top right', relative: true, offset: [10, 10], });<\/script> <strong>or what the Church Fathers called a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-coming-sabbath-rest\/\">Sabbath Rest<\/a>&#8221; and the popes, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-popes-and-a-dawning-new-age\/\">Era of Peace<\/a> <\/strong><em>&#8220;as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come&#8221;<\/em> (Matt 24:14).<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;now word&#8221; of a coming <em>&#8220;Great Storm like a hurricane&#8221;<\/em> that I heard the Lord speak in my heart around 2005, I would later learn, has appeared in the writings of several mystics. To the late Servant of God Fr. Stefano Gobbi, Our Lady said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>What a tremendous and now inevitable Storm is about to break upon poor humanity!<\/strong><\/em> \u2014August 28, 1973<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>My mother\u2019s Heart will be for you the place of your peace, while outside the most violent storm is raging&#8230; Here, you will be safe from every danger and, at the moment of the Storm, you will find your peace.<\/strong><\/em> \u2014October 18, 1975; June 23, 1979<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-49388 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Now-Word-Banner-Raw-HurrOnly4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"589\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Now-Word-Banner-Raw-HurrOnly4.jpg 975w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Now-Word-Banner-Raw-HurrOnly4-300x101.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Now-Word-Banner-Raw-HurrOnly4-768x258.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 589px) 100vw, 589px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the approved messages to Elizabeth Kindelmann, Our Lady said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>The elect souls will have to fight the Prince of Darkness. It will be a frightening storm \u2014 no, not a storm, but a hurricane devastating everything! He even wants to destroy the faith and confidence of the elect. I will always be beside you in the Storm that is now brewing.<\/em><\/strong> \u2014approved by Cardinal P\u00e9ter Erd\u00f6, primate of Hungary\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To Pedro Regis of Brazil, Our Lady said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>A Great Storm is approaching and many men and women will turn away from the Church of my Jesus. <\/strong><\/em>\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/www.countdowntothekingdom.com\/pedro-a-great-storm-is-approaching\/\">November 21, 2023<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>To Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, Our Lord said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>&#8230;soon they will make war against the Church, and its greatest enemies will be its own children\u2026 My Heart is shredded with pain. Nature has reserved some very great surprises for you, as all the elements have been unleashed&#8230; Courage, my children, the time of the great persecution of the Church is approaching. We told you about it well in advance, but you did not take our words seriously. These events will come like boxcars on the tracks and will ripple all across this world. The title is a reference to the coming \u201cmini-judgment\u201d, also known as the Warning, prophesied by a considerable number of mystics over several decades, foretelling a unique occurrence in the history of humanity when all people on earth (with the exception of small children) will see their spiritual state as God sees it. <\/p>\n<p>One remarkable feature of Sulema\u2019s often lengthy locutions is that she delivers them orally in fluent, literary French \u2013 a language which, outside of the ecstasies in which the messages are received, she can only speak to a rudimentary level. <\/p>\n<p>After the publication of the third of these volumes, Sulema has continued to receive messages that are recorded by her husband Sabino (a former atheist who converted after a mystical experience in Medjugorje) but kept private. Since 2021, some locutions have nonetheless been made public on the internet by the specialist Swiss Francophone magazine Stella Maris and by Marcel and Christian Laflamme in Quebec. <\/p>\n<p>The Catholic Church has so far made no formal pronouncement on Sulema\u2019s messages, although she has been accompanied by priests who have prefaced her writings.
