Revolutionary change is coming at us <em>like the winds of a hurricane <\/em>as we approach the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.markmallett.com\/blog\/the-great-day-of-light\/\">eye of the Great Storm<\/a>. As a watchman, I am amazed at the seismic news stories\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">we track <em>in a single day \u2014 <\/em>the equivalent of a year&#8217;s worth of major stories only<\/span> a few decades ago. Who can keep track of the wars, the sudden imposition of A.I., the soaring costs of living, the divisions in our families and nations, and the crisis of leadership in the Church? These are ferocious winds that, if we&#8217;re not careful, can blind, disorientate, and discourage us.<!--more-->\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As I was penning this reflection, a colleague sent a message saying,\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\">Look to the left&#8230;<em>madness<\/em>. Look to the right&#8230;<em>madness<\/em>. Just look at the &#8220;headlines,&#8221; it&#8217;s all <em>madness<\/em>. Why? It really is something to behold.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It really is. So how do we keep our eyes straightforward on Jesus, without being blinded by the flying debris of this Storm? The first thing is to recognize that this is an <em>intentional<\/em> Storm of man&#8217;s own making&#8230;<\/p>\n<h5>\u00a0<\/h5>\n<h5>It is Man-Made<\/h5>\n<p><em>Ordo ab chaos \u2014 <\/em>&#8220;order out of chaos.&#8221; It is the literal motto and strategy of the globalist elite to create chaos and divisions among us&#8230; and then emerge as messianists with the solutions \u2014 solutions that always erode the foundations of Christendom <em>just a little bit more<\/em> until, eventually, the whole edifice will collapse. We are rapidly approaching that moment, a moment Benedict XVI foresaw as he compared our generation to the collapse of the Roman Empire.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>The disintegration of the key principles of law and of the fundamental moral attitudes underpinning them burst open the dams which until that time had protected peaceful coexistence among peoples. The sun was setting over an entire world. Frequent natural disasters further increased this sense of insecurity. There was no power in sight that could put a stop to this decline. He let the boy take his inheritance and sow chaos into his life.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>When they sow the wind, they shall reap the whirlwind.<\/strong> (Hos 8:7)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">In a recent message allegedly from Our Lady to Pedro Regis, she says:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><em><strong>Men have defied the Creator and will drink the bitter cup of suffering. The great chastisement will come by the hands of men themselves. And then the lawless one will be revealed&#8230;<\/strong> (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-8)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 align=\"LEFT\">Warp Speed, Shock and Awe<\/h5>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">You might remember George Bush threatening Iraq with &#8220;shock and awe&#8221; after the events of 911. What many don&#8217;t realize is that doctrine was more of a <em>psychological<\/em> than military weapon. The intent of &#8220;shock and awe&#8221; is to establish dominance, to&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>\u2026affect the will, perception, and understanding of the adversary\u2026 through imposing\u2026 this overwhelming level of Shock and Awe against an adversary on an immediate or sufficiently timely basis to paralyze its will to carry on \u2026 [to] seize control of the environment and paralyze or so overload an adversary\u2019s perceptions and understanding of events that the enemy would be incapable of resistance at the tactical and strategic levels\u2026 Clearly, deception, confusion, misinformation, and disinformation, perhaps in massive amounts, must be employed.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014Harlan K. And you <em>must<\/em> choose sides:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>Today we are shocked. A simplistic and infantilizing official discourse is hammered in all directions, driving our contemporaries to a scandalously binary choice: to be for, and to side with the camp of good docile citizens, or to be against and to see themselves singled out, considered at best selfish, irresponsible, at worst as \u201cdangerous conspirators\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/reinfocovid.fr\/le-collectif-reinfocovid\/\">Le Collectif Reinfocovid<\/a>, a collective of caregivers, doctors and university scientists in France (Google translation)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As King Charles travels about the world meeting with heads of state, let us not forget that it was he who launched the official battle cry of the Great Reset as essentially a &#8220;shock and awe&#8221; campaign:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>Without <em>swift<\/em> and immediate action, at an unprecedented pace and scale, we will miss the window of opportunity to \u2018reset\u2019 for\u2026 a more sustainable and inclusive future&#8230; With the urgency that now exists around avoiding irreversible damage to our planet, we must put ourselves on what can only be described as a war footing.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014Prince Charles,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-8753707\/Charles-Climate-crisis-dwarf-impact-coronavirus.html\">dailymail.com<\/a>, September 20th, 2020<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Mass Propaganda<\/h5>\n<p>Dr. Mark Crispin Miller, PhD., an expert on propaganda whom I spoke with during the COVID global shutdown, has described recent events as a mass deception. On the one hand, we want to &#8220;watch and pray&#8221; as Our Lord commanded us. On the other, we risk losing sight of the big picture and getting sucked into the vortex. By this I mean a constant consumption of the unrestrained lawlessness of this hour \u2014 hyper-sexualization of celebrities, shocking violence, a barrage of foul language, things that widdle away at our innocence and do violence to the soul. The daily stimulus of social media, pornography, and entertainment is literally changing our brains. The ability, then, to focus, to think critically, to perceive reality, as Dr. Miller says, is being lost.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">We have to put down our phones, close our browsers, and be deliberate about detoxifying from the internet and how much time we spend there.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 align=\"LEFT\">It&#8217;s a Spiritual War<\/h5>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">The great deception of our times is to see one another as enemies, to divide ourselves into &#8220;left&#8221; and &#8220;right&#8221;, &#8220;liberal&#8221; or &#8220;conservative.&#8221; These labels are hard to avoid. But what&#8217;s even harder is to see past them to the image of God in which each person is created.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.<\/strong> (Ephesians 6:12)<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">You&#8217;ll know you have risen above the Storm when you are able, sincerely, to love your enemies. At the same time, we have to be realists and recognize that a real sifting of the weeds from the wheat is occurring at the end of this age. The danger today is that many who think they are wheat are growing like weeds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>The world is rapidly being divided into two camps, the comradeship of anti-Christ and the brotherhood of Christ. The lines between these two are being drawn. How long the battle will be we know not; whether swords will have to be unsheathed we know not; whether blood will have to be shed we know not; whether it will be an armed conflict we know not. The Catechism places everything into balance:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong><span class=\"text\">According to the Lord, the present time is the time of the Spirit and of witness,\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span class=\"text\">but also a\u00a0time\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span class=\"text\">still mar<\/span><\/strong><strong><span class=\"text\">ked by \u201cdistress\u201d and the trial of evil which does not spare\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><strong><span class=\"text\">the Church and ushers in the struggles of the last days. If the thread breaks, many will be those who do not reach salvation. That is why I call you to reflection.
