Nesuprantu nei jo valios, nei meilės, nei to, kad jis leidžia blogiui plisti. Tačiau jis sukūrė SATANĄ ir nesunaikino jo sukilęs, paversdamas jį pelenais. Aš labiau nepasitikiu Jėzumi, kuris tariamai yra stipresnis už velnią. Tai gali užtrukti vieną žodį ir vieną gestą, ir pasaulis bus išgelbėtas! Aš turėjau svajonių, vilčių, projektų, bet dabar turiu tik vieną norą dienos pabaigoje: galutinai užmerkti akis!
Kur čia Dievas? ar jis kurčias? ar jis aklas? Ar jam rūpi kenčiantys žmonės? ...

Jis visada turėjo pirmenybę - kaip Abelis Kainui, Izaokas Izmaelui, Jokūbas Ezavui, nedorėlis teisiesiems. Liūdna, bet turime susidurti su faktais, kad SATANAS yra stipresnis už visus šventus ir angelus! Taigi, jei Dievas egzistuoja, leiskite jam tai įrodyti man, aš nekantrauju su juo pasikalbėti, jei tai gali mane pakeisti. Aš neprašiau gimti.
IN THE FACE OF EVIL
After I read those words, I went outside to watch my sons working on our farm. I looked at them with tears in my eyes… realizing that there is no worldly “future” for them in the present situation. And they know it. They realize that being forced to take an experimental injection is not freedom, especially as they would then be committed to endless booster shots, when and how the government tells them. Their movements would henceforth be tracked via a “vaccine passport”. They realize, too, that the freedom to publicly speak up, to question this dictatorial narrative, to counter with sound arguments, science, and logic is no longer permitted. The words of our Canadian national anthem, “God keep our land glorious and free” belong to a bygone era… and we cry when we hear it sung now.

For our shepherds first vocation is to be men — pastors second. Where are the men standing up in the defence of our women and children — especially children — whom the governments are now turning their dangerous needles upon? I can honestly say that what is happening today is truly blogis — a word I hesitate to use as it is frequently misused. But some things need to be called by their name.

Jie garbinamas the dragon because it gave its authority to the beast; they also worshiped the beast and said, “Who can compare with the beast or who can fight against it?” (Revelation 13:4)
Who can fight against government mandates? Who can fight against vaccine passports? Who can fight against forced injection? Who can survive in a world that demands this?
And so, in the face of this evil, we may be tempted to despair and to believe that Satan really is more powerful than our crucified Jesus…
MYSTERY OF FREE WILL
There is no easy answer to the mystery of evil in the world. As this despairing woman wrote: “I do not have more confidence in Jesus who supposedly is stronger than the Devil. It could just take one word and one gesture and the world would be saved!”
But would it? I have often said to audiences at conferences: They crucified Jesus when He walked on the earth and we would crucify Him again.
Here is what we must understand and take responsibility for: our free will. We aren’t animals; we are human beings — men and women who are created “in the image of God.” As such, man has been endowed with the capacity to be in communion with God. While the animal world can be in Harmonija with God, that is different than bendrystė. This union of man’s mind, intellect and will su God has gifted us with the capacity to likewise know and experience the begalinis love, joy, and peace of the Creator. It’s more incredible than we realize… and we will realize it, some day.
Now, it’s true — God didn’t have to create us this way. He could have made us puppets whereby He snaps his fingers and we all work and play in harmony without any possibility of evil. But then, we would no longer have the capacity for bendrystė. For the very basis of this communion is love — and love is always an act of free will. And oh, what a powerful, awesome, and terrible gift this is! Hence, not only does this free will make us capable of receiving eternal life in God, but it, therefore, gives us the capacity to choose to reject it.
So, while it is true that the extent to which evil is allowed to reign is a mystery to us, truly, the fact that evil exists is a direct result of the capacity we as human beings (and angels) have, through free will, to love — and thus participate in the Divine.
Still… why does God allow human trafficking to continue? Why does God allow governments to run roughshod over freedom? Why does God allow dictators to starve their people to death? Why does God allow Islamic militants to torture, rape, and behead Christians? Why does God permit bishops or priests to violate children over decades? Why does God allow a thousand injustices throughout the world to continue? Sure, we have free will — but why doesn’t Jesus “do something” that would serve as a warning to at least shake the wicked?
Fifteen years ago, Benedict XVI visited the death camps in Auschwitz:
Alone, Benedict walked into the “Stammlager” beneath the infamous “Arbeit macht frei” gate to the Death Wall, where thousands of prisoners were executed. Facing the wall, with clasped hands, he made a deep bow and removed his skull cap. At the Birkenau camp, where the Nazis murdered over a million Jews and others in gas chambers and emptied their ashes into nearby ponds, Pope Benedict held back tears as he listened to Psalm 22, including the words “O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer.” The pontiff of the Catholic Church spoke in Italian at a ceremony also attended by many Holocaust survivors. “In a place like this, words fail; in the end, there can be only a dread silence – a silence which itself is a heartfelt cry to God: ‘Why, Lord, did you remain silent?'” His only public prayer in German during the visit ended with the words, “Let those who are divided be reconciled.” - 26 m. Here, the Pope did not offer us theological treatises. He did not propose explanations and excuses. Instead, he just fought back tears while echoing the words of Jesus on the Cross:
Mano Dieve, mano Dieve, kodėl tu mane apleidai? (Morkaus 15:34)
But then, who can say that God does not know, then, the very core of evil when He Himself took every single sin from the beginning to the end of time upon Himself? And yet, why would this have not been enough for Jesus to re-echo upon that Cross the Triune God’s lament thousands of years before:
When the LORD saw how great the wickedness of human beings was on earth, and how every desire that their heart conceived was always nothing but evil, the LORD regretted making human beings on the earth, and his heart was grieved. (Gen 6:5-6)
Instead, He said: Father, forgive them, they know not what they do. (Lukas 23: 34)
And within the fully divine and human person of Jesus, at that moment, the entire wrath of God, that this woman in her letter feels should be poured out upon the wicked, was instead, poured out upon Christ. The Cross did not shut the door of evil (ie. the radical possibilities of free will), it simply and wondrously opened up the door to Heaven that was shut by Adam.
But why did God not create a world so perfect that no evil could exist in it? With infinite power God could always create something better. But with infinite wisdom and goodness God freely willed to create a world “in a state of journeying” towards its ultimate perfection. In God’s plan this process of becoming involves the appearance of certain beings and the disappearance of others, the existence of the more perfect alongside the less perfect, both constructive and destructive forces of nature. With physical good there exists also physical evil as long as creation has not reached perfection. Angels and men, as intelligent and free creatures, have to journey toward their ultimate destinies by their free choice and preferential love. They can therefore go astray. Indeed, they have sinned. Thus has moral evil, incommensurably more harmful than physical evil, entered the world. God is in no way, directly or indirectly, the cause of moral evil. He permits it, however, because he respects the freedom of his creatures and, mysteriously, knows how to derive good from it: For almighty God… because he is supremely good, would never allow any evil whatsoever to exist in his works if he were not so all-powerful and good as to cause good to emerge from evil itself. -Katalikų bažnyčios katekizmas (CCC), n. 310–311
So why is one woman who longs to be a mother remain barren while another very fertile woman wantonly aborts her offspring? Why does one parent’s child die in a car accident on his way to college while another becomes a life-long criminal? Why does God miraculously heal one person of cancer while a family of eight children lose their mother to the same disease, despite their prayers?
Admittedly, all of this seems random according to our limited observation. And yet, in God’s infinite wisdom, He sees how all things work to the good for those who love Him. I remember when my sister died in a car accident when I was 19, she was 22. My mother sat on the bed and said, “We can either reject God and say, “Why have you abandoned us?”… or we can trust that He is sitting here next to us now, crying with us, and that He’ll help us get through this time….” In that one sentence, I feel that my mother gave me a tome of theology. God did not will death in the world, but He permits it — permits our horrible choices and terrible evils — because we have free will. But then, He weeps with us, walks with us… and some day in eternity, we will see how the evils we never understood on earth were part of a divine plan to save the maximum number of souls.
The Last Judgment will come when Christ returns in glory. Only the Father knows the day and the hour; only he determines the moment of its coming. Then through his Son Jesus Christ he will pronounce the final word on all history. We shall know the ultimate meaning of the whole work of creation and of the entire economy of salvation and understand the marvelous ways by which his Providence led everything towards its final end. The Last Judgment will reveal that God’s justice triumphs over all the injustices committed by his creatures and that God’s love is stronger than death. -BMK, n. 1010 m

Right now, in our twenty-four hour days, with ticking clocks, advancing age, and the crawl of the seasons… if one is in the midst of suffering, time could not move fast enough. But in eternity, all will truly be a memory about the length of a blink.

Those words came from a man who was frequently hungry, persecuted, beaten, imprisoned, and even stoned to death.
Today, I look out my window and see that all the writings of this little apostolate were indeed for this hour… the coming of the Didžioji audra, the Storm of Communism — and all the terrible things that evil hearts can concoct. But it’s just a Storm. And those of us who live through it will come to see part of the “ultimate meaning of the whole work of creation” coming to fruition as the words of the Our Father will be fulfilled — and His Kingdom will reign for a time „Žemėje kaip danguje“.
O iniquitous world, you are doing everything you can to cast Me away from the face of the earth, to banish Me from society, from schools, from conversations — from everything. You are plotting how to demolish temples and altars, how to destroy my Church and kill my ministers; while I am preparing for you an Era of Love — the Era of my third FIAT. You will make your own way in order to banish Me, and I will confuse you by means of Love. I will follow you from behind, and I will come toward you from the front so as to confuse you in Love; and wherever you have banished Me, I will raise my throne, and there will I reign more than before — but in a more astonishing way; so much so, that you yourself will fall at the foot of my throne, as though bound by the power of my Love.
Ah, my daughter, the creature rages more and more in evil! How many machinations of ruin they are preparing! They will reach the point of exhausting evil itself. But while they are occupied with following their own way, I will be occupied with making the Fiat Voluntas Tua [“Thy Will be Done”] have Its completion and fulfillment, and my Will reign upon the earth — but in a completely new way. Then, we shall see that this present moment was a pathetic attempt by a very ruthless and proud dragon to destroy a Church that could never be destroyed… that this moment when our shepherds seemed to have fled the Garden of Gethsemane will be followed by a moment of Pentecost when true shepherds will gather Christ’s flock with tenderness, power and love… that this moment of the advance of Communism is really not the triumph of evil but the last puffs of pride of wicked men. Don’t get me wrong — we are going to go through the Passion of the Church. But we need the perspective that Jesus himself gave us:
When a woman is in labor, she is in anguish because her hour has arrived; but when she has given birth to a child, she no longer remembers the pain because of her joy that a child has been born into the world. So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. (John 16:21-22)
Jesus is not going to leave us… He’s madly in love with us! But the glory of the Church is going to fail, for a time. It is going to go down into the tomb.Raudok, o vyrų vaikai! But today is not the day for nostalgia. It is not the day to grieve the things we had… but to look forward to the world that Jesus is preparing for His Bride before His final return in glory at the end of time… an Era of Love… and for those who are being called home sooner, we turn our eyes to the eternal Era of love, Heaven itself.
