Wonke umntu owamameleyo la mazwi am, angawenzi, woba njengesidenge esakha indlu yakhe phezu kwentlabathi. Imvula ina, izikhukula zeza, kwavuthuza imimoya, zabetha indlu. Kwaye yawa kwaye yonakala ngokupheleleyo. (UMateyu 7: 26-27)

Ngaba sazifihla iisakramente phantsi kwebhasikithi ngenxa yokoyika ukubonakala ngathi akukho manyano? Ukuba sayeka ukumema abanye abantu kwi-Eucharistic Banquet ngenxa yokuba bekukho ukuvuza okukhulu eluphahleni?

Ngaba asiboni ngamehlo ethu ukuba kwenzeka ntoni kwezi zindlu zakhiwe esantini, nokuba ku zizindlu ebezimelwe ngeenkulungwane? Ukuqhubeka koopopu, ngakumbi kule nkulungwane iphelileyo yemfazwe, izidubedube, kunye nowexuko ngokuqinisekileyo bubungqina benyaniso kaMateyu 16:18!

Simon, Simon, uyabona, uSathana ubenibanga ukuze anihluze njengengqolowa; ke ndithandazela ukuba ukholo lwenu lungapheli; kwaye xa ubuye umva, kufuneka womeleze abazalwana bakho.  (Luka 22: 31-32)

Kwaye namhlanje, uSathana uyaqhubeka esihluza sonke njengengqolowa. Ukanti, ndiva uKristu esitsho kwakhona ku-Peter, kwilandela lakhe uPope Benedict XVI, “Uze ubazimase abazalwana bakho.” Uyabona, siya kufumana amandla kuloPopu, siya kufumana ukhuseleko kunye nendawo yethu yokuhlala isaqhwithi soDideko, kuba nguKristu ngokwakhe owayalela uPetros ukuba “Yondla izimvu zam”.
