USt Paul ucacisa kahle imiphumela yalokhu kucabanga okuyize: 

Ngenkathi bethi bahlakaniphile, baba yiziphukuphuku futhi bashintsha inkazimulo kaNkulunkulu ongafiyo bafana nomfanekiso womuntu ofayo noma wezinyoni noma wezilwane ezinemilenze emine noma izinyoka.

Zingaki izinto ezikhathini zethu ezihambelana nale ncazelo! Ngabe izinyoni nezilwane ezinemilenze emine azinamalungelo amaningi kunengane engakazalwa? Futhi ingabe isizukulwane sethu asizange siguqule inkazimulo kaNkulunkulu sifane “nomfanekiso” womfanekiso womuntu ofayo? Lokho wukuthi, ayikaze ibe namasiko “ezithombe ozishuthe wona” ngokocansi — okungukuthi. ukuzimela wedwa nokukhulekelwa komzimba — ukukhulekelwa kukaNkulunkulu okushiye amakhaya emiphefumulweni eminingi? Ngakho-ke, uNkulunkulu wabanikela ekungcoleni ngezinkanuko zezinhliziyo zabo ngenxa yokonakala kwemizimba yabo. Banana iqiniso likaNkulunkulu ngamanga, bahlonipha bakhonza okudaliweyo kunoMdali obongekayo kuze kube phakade.

Ngempela, ubukhulu besikhathi sokukhanyiselwa bungabhekwa ngokufanele njenge- inguquko kwezocansi—Ukuzamazama komhlaba kwabantu lapho ucansi — oluyisibonakaliso futhi “luphawu” lwenhlanganyelo yangaphakathi kaZiqu-zintathu Ongcwele - lwahlukaniswa nomsebenzi walo wokuzala; umshado wawungasathathwa njengesisekelo sokwakha umphakathi, futhi izingane zazithathwa njengesithiyo enjabulweni. Ngalokho uNkulunkulu uthumela kubo inkohliso enamandla, ukubenza bakholwe ngamanga, ukuze kuthi bonke abangakholwanga yiqiniso kepha bajabula ngokungalungi balahlwe. (2 Thes. 2: 11-12)

Kodwa-ke, uma kungenzeka amaRoma — noma thina — avuke ngolaka nokuzibheka njengabalungile, uSt.Paul ngokushesha uyakhumbuza:

Angazi umugqa wesikhathi kaNkulunkulu… kodwa ukuqhubeka kukaSt. Paul kusikisela ukuthi sisondela ngokuyingozi esicongweni sokuhlubuka kwabantu — ukuthi ukuhlubuka okukhulu okuvela kuNkulunkulu.

Ngubani ongehluleki ukubona ukuthi umphakathi usesikhathini samanje, ngaphezu kwanoma yisiphi isizukulwane esedlule, uhlushwa yisifo esibi futhi esinezimpande ezijulile, esithuthuka nsuku zonke futhi sidla okungaphakathi kwaso, siyidonsela ekubhujisweni?
