Ngabe uJesu wakubikezela ukushushiswa kweSonto ukuze kusigcwalise ngokwesaba? Noma ngabe waxwayisa abaPhostoli ngalezi zinto ukuze i ukukhanya kwangaphakathi kwakuzoqondisa amaKristu ebumnyameni besiphepho esizayo? Ukuze bazilungiselele futhi baphile manje njengabahambi ezweni elinethezekile?

Impela, uJesu usitshela ukuthi ukuba yizakhamizi zombuso waphakade kusho ukuba ngabafokazi nezihambi — abafokazi ezweni esidlula kulo nje. Futhi ngoba sizokhanyisa ukukhanya kwakhe ebumnyameni, sizondwa, ngoba lokho kukhanya kuzodalula imisebenzi yobumnyama.

Kepha nathi sizothanda, futhi ngothando lwethu, sizuze imiphefumulo yabashushisi bethu. Ekugcineni, isithembiso sokuthula soMama Wethu kaFatima ... ukuthula kuyofika.

UNkulunkulu uyisiphephelo namandla ethu, ulusizo olukhona impela ezinkingeni. Ngakho-ke asiyikwesaba noma umhlaba ungaguquka, noma izintaba zizamazama enhliziyweni yolwandle; noma amanzi alo ebhonga, ekhihliza amagquma, nezintaba ziyathuthumela ngokuhlokoma kwakho. uNkulunkulu kaJakobe uyisiphephelo sethu. ISIPHETHO 

Asisoze sashiywa kulolu hambo, noma ngabe kuletha ini. Okushiwo kulaba abahlanu “Amacilongo Esixwayiso”Yilokho okubekwe enhliziyweni yami, nezinhliziyo zamakholwa amaningi emhlabeni wonke. Asinakusho ukuthi nini, noma nokuqiniseka ukuthi lezi zinto zizokwenzeka yini esikhathini sethu. Isihe sikaNkulunkulu siyamanzi, nokuhlakanipha kwakhe kungaphezu kokuqonda kwethu. Kuyena umzuzu usuku, usuku ngenyanga, inyanga eyikhulu. Izinto zingaqhubeka okwamanje. Kepha lokhu akusona isaba sokulala! Okuningi kuncike ekuphenduleni kwethu kulezi zixwayiso.

UKristu wathembisa ukuhlala nathi “kuze kube sekupheleni kwesikhathi.” Ngokushushiswa, ubunzima, nangazo zonke izinhlupheko, Uzoba lapho. Kufanele uthole induduzo kula mazwi! Lokhu akusikho ukukhuselwa okude, okujwayelekile! UJesu uzobe elapho, khona lapho, eduze nokuphefumula kwakho, noma ngabe izinsuku zingaba nzima kanjani. Kuzoba ngumusa ongaphezu kwemvelo, uvaliwe kulabo abamkhethayo. Abakhetha impilo yaphakade. 

Ngikusho lokhu kini, ukuze kimi nibe nokuthula. Ezweni ninosizi; kodwa yiba nesibindi, ngiwunqobile umhlaba. (UJohn 16: 33)

Amanzi avukile neziphepho ezinzima ziphezu kwethu, kepha asesabi ukuminza, ngoba simi siqinile edwaleni. Ulwandle maluthukuthele, alikwazi ukuphula idwala. Vumela amagagasi aphakame, awakwazi ukusika isikebhe sikaJesu. Yini okufanele siyesabe? Ukufa? Impilo kimi isho uKristu, nokufa kuyinzuzo. Ukudingiswa? Umhlaba nokugcwala kwawo kungokukaJehova. Ukuphucwa izimpahla zethu? Asilethanga lutho kulo mhlaba, futhi asisoze sathatha lutho kuwo… Ngalokho ngigxila esimweni samanje, futhi ngiyaninxusa, bahlobo bami, ukuba nibe nokuzethemba. —USt. UJohn Chrysostom
