Ukugxothwa kweNkanyamba uKatrina, eNew Orleans

 

EKUQALENI lipapashwe nge-7 kaSeptemba, 2006, eli gama likhule ngamandla entliziyweni yam kutsha nje. Umnxeba kukuzilungiselela zombini ngokwenyama kwaye ngokomoya kuba elubhacweni. Oko ndibhale kulo nyaka uphelileyo, sikubonile ukufuduka kwezigidi zabantu, ngakumbi eAsia naseAfrika, ngenxa yeentlekele zendalo kunye nemfazwe. Owona myalezo uphambili sisikhuthazo: UKrestu usikhumbuza ukuba singabemi baseZulwini, abahambi ngezonqulo begoduka, kwaye imeko yethu yokomoya neyendalo esingqongileyo kufuneka ikubonakalise oko. 

 

UMTHAMO 

Igama "elubhacweni" lihlala lidada engqondweni yam, ngokunjalo:

INew Orleans yayiyimicroscosm yento ezayo… ngoku uzolile phambi kwesiphango.

Xa iNkanyamba uKatrina yahlasela abantu abaninzi, baba selubhacweni. Kwakungenamsebenzi nokuba usisityebi okanye ulihlwempu, umhlophe okanye umnyama, abefundisi okanye abantu nje abaqhelekileyo — ukuba usendleleni, kufuneka uhambe ngoku. Kukho "ukunyikima" okuzayo, kwaye kuya kuvelisa kwimimandla ethile ekuthinjweni. 

 

Koba njalo ebantwini, kube njalo nakubabingeleli. Njengakwikhoboka, kunjalo nakwinkosi yalo; njengokuba nesicakakazi, kunjalo ngenkosikazi yaso; njengomthengi, kunjalo nakumthengisi; njengoko kumbolekayo, ngoko nakumboleki; njengakwityala lomntu, kunjalo nakumntu onetyala. (Isaya 24: 1-2)

Kodwa ndiyakholelwa ukuba kuyakubakho into ethile ekuthinjweni ngokomoya, ukucocwa ngokukodwa kwiCawa. Kunyaka ophelileyo, la mazwi aqhubekile entliziyweni yam:  

Icawa isemyezweni waseGetsemane, kwaye imalunga nokungena kwiimvavanyo zePassion. (Qaphela: Amava ecawe ngawo onke amaxesha nakuzo zonke izizukulwana ukuzalwa, ubomi, inkanuko, ukufa nokuvuka kukaYesu.)

Njengoko kuthethwe kuyo Icandelo le-III, UPopu John Paul II ngo-1976 (ngelo xesha uKhadinali Karol Wojtyla) wathi sangena kwidabi lokugqibela phakathi kwe "Church kunye ne anti-church." Uqukumbele ngelithi:

UKUDIDEKA EBANDLENI

Kwigadi yaseGetsemane, ityala laqala xa uYesu wabanjwa wasuswa. Ehlotyeni, sobabini kunye nabanye abazalwana ababini ebufundisini bendinengqondo ngaphakathi kweeyure zomnye nomnye ukuba isiganeko singahle senzeke eRoma esiya kuthi siqale ukuqala koku ekuthinjweni ngokomoya.

'Ndiya kumbetha umalusi, zichithwachithwe izimvu zomhlambi'… Yudas, umngcatsha uNyana woMntu ngokumanga? ” Basuka bonke abafundi babaleka, babaleka. (Mat 26:31; Luk 22:48; Mat 26:56)

Babalekela kuyo ekuthinjweni, kwinto umntu anokuthi yayiyi-mini-schism.

Uninzi lweengcwele kunye ne-mystic zithethile ngexesha elizayo xa uPapa uya kunyanzelwa ukuba ashiye iRoma. Ngelixa oku kungabonakala kungenakwenzeka kwingqondo yethu yangoku, asinakulibala ukuba iRashiya yamaKomanisi wenza ukuzama ukususa uPopu John Paul II bengaphumeleli kwilinge lokubulala. Nangona kunjalo, umsitho obalulekileyo eRoma wawuza kuzisa ukudideka eCaweni. Ingaba uPopu wethu wangoku sele eyivile le nto? Kwikhaya lakhe lokuvula, amazwi kaPopu Benedict XVI wokuvala ngala:

Yiyo le nto kufuneka similiselwe eNkosini ngoku, bemi ngokuqinileyo eliweni, eliBandla laKhe. Kuza imihla apho kuya kubakho ukudideka okukhulu, mhlawumbi ukwahlukana, okuya kulahlekisa abaninzi. Kufuneka size neoyile eyongezelelweyo kwizibane zethu ngoku! (ukubona (Mat. 25: 1-13) Ndiyakholelwa ukuba iyakuba lubabalo olungaphaya kwendalo oluza kuthi luhambise intsalela yeCawe kwixesha elizayo, kwaye ke, kufuneka siyifune lento ioyile kaThixo ngeli xesha sinako.

Kuya kuvela ooMesiya bobuxoki nabaprofeti ababuxoki, kwaye baya kwenza imiqondiso nemimangaliso emikhulu kangangokuba balahlekise, ukuba bekunokwenzeka, nabanyuliweyo. (Mat 24:24)

Ubusuku buyaqhubeka, kwaye iKhwezi laseMantla leNkosikazi yethu sele liqalisile ukukhomba indlela intshutshiso ezayo esele ngeendlela ezininzi sele iqalile. Ke, ulilela imiphefumlo emininzi.

Mzukiseni uYehova uThixo wenu, engekabi mnyama; Phambi kokuba iinyawo zakho zikhubeke kwiintaba ezimnyama; Phambi kokuba ukukhanya ujonge ebumnyameni, utshintshe ibe ngamafu amnyama. Ukuba awukumameli oku kwikratshi lakho, ndiya kulila ngasese iinyembezi ezininzi; Amehlo am ahla iinyembezi kum, ngenxa yomhlambi weNkosi; (Yer 13: 16-17)

 

AMALUNGISELELO…

Njengokuba ilizwe liqhubeka nokuntywila kukungalawuleki okungalawulekiyo kunye nokulinga iziseko zobomi noluntu, ndibona enye into isenzeka kwiCawe eseleyo: kukho umnqweno wangaphakathi wokuba Ndicocekile, zombini ngokomoya kwaye ngokwenyama.

Ingathi iNkosi ihambisa abantu bayo endaweni yabo, ukubalungiselela okuzayo. Ndikhumbula uNowa nentsapho yakhe abachitha iminyaka besakha umkhombe. Xa ixesha lifikile, babengenakukwazi ukuthatha yonke impahla yabo, kanye kanye into abayifunayo. Kunjalo ke, eli lixesha elithile umkhosi wokomoya eyamaKrestu-ixesha lokususa izinto ezigabadeleyo kunye nezo zinto zibe zizithixo. Kananjalo, umKristu oyinyani uya esiba yinto ephikisanayo kwihlabathi elinobutyebi, kwaye usenokude agculelwe okanye angahoywa, njengoNowa.

Into enomdla yokuba u-Kristu wabeka ukugxila "emtshatweni" kwezo "ntsuku zoNyana woMntu". Ngaba yinto eyenzekileyo ukuba umtshato ube yindawo yokulwa ukuqhubela phambili i-ajenda yokuphelisa iCawe?

 

ARKO YOMNQOPHISO OMTSHA 

Namhlanje, “umkhombe” omtsha Intombi enguMariya. Kanye njengetyeya yomnqophiso weTestamente eNdala ephethe ilizwi likaThixo, iMithetho Elishumi, uMariya ngu Ityeya yomnqophiso omtsha, owamthwala wazala uYesu Kristu, ILizwi lenziwe inyama. Kwaye ekubeni uKristu engumzalwana wethu, nathi singabantwana bakhe bokomoya.

Uyintloko yomzimba, libandla; uyingqalo, amazibulo kwabafileyo… (Col 1: 8)

Ukuba uKristu ulizibulo kubaninzi, asizalwanga na ngunina omnye? Thina sikholwayo saza sabhaptizelwa elukholweni, singamalungu amaninzi oMzimba omnye. Kwaye ke, siba nenxaxheba kumama kaKrestu njengabethu ekubeni ingumama kaKrestu oyiNtloko, kunye noMzimba wakhe.

UYesu ngoko, akumbona unina, naye umfundi abemthanda emi khona, uthi kuye, Mfazi, nanko unyana wakho! Andule athi kumfundi lowo, Nanko unyoko! (UYohane 19: 26-27)

Unyana ekubhekiselwe kuye apha, emele iBandla liphela, nguMpostile uYohane. Kwi-Apocalypse yakhe, uthetha "ngomfazi owambethe ilanga" (Izityhilelo 12) owaziwa ngu-Pope Piux X kunye no-Benedict XVI njenge-Virgin Mary eyintsikelelo:

UJohn ke ngoko wabona oyena Mama ungcwele kaThixo sele elonwabile ngonaphakade, kodwa enenimba ekuzaleni okungummangaliso. -UPAPA PIUS X, Encyclical Intengiso yeDiem Illum Laetissimum24

Uyasizala, kwaye usebunzimeni, inamba njengoko "inamba" ilandela iBandla ukuyitshabalalisa:

Yaza ingqumbo yamqumbela umfazi, yemka yaya kulwa nabaseleyo bembewu yakhe; kwanabo bayigcinayo imithetho kaThixo, bangqina ngoYesu. (Izityhilelo 12:17)

Ke, kula maxesha ethu, uMariya umema bonke abantwana bakhe kwindawo yokubalekela kunye nokukhuseleka kwentliziyo yakhe engafakwanga-iTyeya entsha-ngakumbi njengoko ukohlwaya okuzayo kubonakala kusondela (njengoko kuchaziwe Icandelo le-III). Ndiyazi ukuba ezi ngcamango zinokuvakala zinzima kubafundi bam bamaProtestanti, kodwa ukuba ngumama kukaMariya ngokomoya kwaba yinto eyamkelweyo ngu lonke Icawa:

UMariya nguMama kaYesu noMama wethu sonke nangona yayinguKrestu yedwa owaguqa ngamadolo… Ukuba ngowethu, bekufanele ukuba sikwimeko yakhe; Apho akhoyo, nathi kufanele ukuba sibekhona kwaye konke anako kufanele ukuba kube kokwethu, kwaye umama wakhe ukwangumama wethu. —UMartin Luther, INtshumayelo, iKrisimesi, 1529.

Olu khuselo lukamama lwalunikwa kanye ngaphambili, ngexesha apho isigwebo sasilungele ukuwela emhlabeni njengoko kutyhilwe ngumbono owamkelwe yiCawe waseFatima, ePortugal ngo-1917.

“Andisoze ndikushiye; Intliziyo yam engenasiphelo iya kuba yindawo yakho yokusabela, nendlela eya kukukhokelela kuThixo. ”

Indlela umntu angena ngayo kule Tye ngesiqhelo yile nto kukuzinikela okuthandwayo kubizwa ngokuba "kukumisela" kuMariya. Oko kukuthi, umntu wamkela uMariya njengoMama wokomoya, embeka kuye bonke ubomi nezenzo zakhe ukuze akhokelwe ngokuqinisekileyo kulwalamano lobuqu lokwenene noYesu. Kuyinto entle, egxile kuKristu. (Unokufunda ngokuzinikezela kwam Apha, kwaye ufumane i- Umthandazo wokumisela njengokuba. Oko ndenza esi "senzo sokungcwaliswa", ndiye ndanamava amatsha amangalisayo kuhambo lwam lwasemoyeni.)

 

EKUTHUNJWENI — NGAPHANDLE KWALO

Isondele imini yeNkosi, ewe, iNkosi ilungiselele umthendeleko; iyingcwalisile abamenyiweyo bayo. (Zef 1: 7)

Abo benze oku kungcwaliswa kwaye bangena Ityeya yomnqophiso omtsha (kwaye oku kungabandakanya nabani na othembekileyo kuYesu Krestu) bafihlakele, befihlakele kwiintliziyo zabo, bezilungiselela izilingo ezizayo-bezilungiselela ekuthinjweni. Ngaphandle kokuba, bayala ukusebenzisana neZulu.

Nyana womntu, uhleli phakathi kwendlu eneenkani; banamehlo okubona kodwa ababoni. kwenye indawo; mhlawumbi baya kubona ukuba bayindlu eneenkani. (UHezekile 12: 1-3)

Kukho ingxoxo eninzi kwezi ntsuku zijikeleza "indawo ezingcwele", iindawo uThixo azilungisayo kwihlabathi lonke njengendawo yokuhlala yabantu baKhe. (Kuyenzeka, nangona intliziyo kaKrestu nonyoko iqinisekile kwaye ihlala ihleli.) Kukwakho nabo bayibonayo imfuneko yokwenza lula izinto zabo eziphathekayo kwaye "balunge."

Kodwa ukufuduka okubalulekileyo komKristu kukuba ngumntu ohlala emhlabeni, kodwa hayi owehlabathi; umhambi oselubhacweni kwilizwe lethu lokwenyani eZulwini, ukanti ngumqondiso wokuphikisana nehlabathi. UmKristu ngulowo uphila iVangeli, ephalaza ubomi bakhe eluthandweni nasekusebenzeni kwilizwe eligxile ku "I". Silungisa iintliziyo zethu, "imithwalo" yethu, ngokungathi iya elubhacweni. 

UThixo usilungiselela ukuthunjwa, nangayiphi na indlela eza ngayo. Kodwa asibizelwanga ukuba sizimele!  Endaweni yokuba, eli lixesha lokuvakalisa iVangeli ngobomi bethu; ukuvakalisa inyaniso ngokungafihlisiyo ngothando, nokuba kungexesha langaphandle okanye ngaphandle. Lixesha leNceba, kwaye ke, kufuneka sibe njalo imiqondiso yenceba nethemba kwilizwe elixhwalekileyo ebumnyameni besono. Makungabikho abangcwele ababuhlungu!

Kwaye kufuneka siyeke ukuthetha ngokuba ngamaKristu. Kufuneka siyenze. Cima umabonwakude, uguqe ngamadolo, uthi “Ndilapha Nkosi! Ndithumelele!" Mamela ke oko akuthethayo kuwe… kwaye ukwenze. Ndiyakholelwa kulo mzuzu ukuba abanye benu bafumana ukukhululwa kwamandla kaMoya oyiNgcwele ngaphakathi kwenu. Sukoyika! UKristu akasoze akushiye, nanini. Akakunikanga moya wobugwala, kodwa wamandla nothando kunye nokuzeyisa! (2 Tim 1: 7)

UYesu ukubizela kwisidiliya: imiphefumlo ilinde inkululeko… imiphefumlo egxothiweyo kwilizwe lobumnyama. Kwaye, lifutshane kangakanani ixesha!

Musa ukoyika ukuya ezitalatweni nakwiindawo zikawonke-wonke njengabapostile bokuqala, ababeshumayela ngoKrestu kunye neendaba ezilungileyo zosindiso kwizikwere zeedolophu, iidolophu neelali. Eli asiloxesha lokuba neentloni ngeVangeli. Lixesha lokuba ushumayele phezu kophahla lwendlu. Musa ukoyika ukuqhekeka kubomi obutofotofo nobuzinzileyo ukuze uthathe umceli mngeni wokwazisa uKristu “kwisixeko” sanamhlanje.
