First, let me say how grateful I am for the support that has poured in from all over the world — Switzerland, India, Australia, Germany, Austria, the United States, etc. This includes letters from Carmelite Monasteries, priests, deacons, and laity alike. To be honest, it always catches me by surprise. For the enemy is always a step behind me whispering, “No one is listening. They don’t care. You’re wasting your breath. You should do something else with your life…”  It’s a constant noise or, as I say, his Temptation to be “Normal.”  But I just tell him I’ll preach to an empty church so long as it’s God’s will.Continue reading →
