Your Prayers and Support

Thank You!

First, let me say how grateful I am for the support that has poured in from all over the world — Switzerland, India, Australia, Germany, Austria, the United States, etc. This includes letters from Carmelite Monasteries, priests, deacons, and laity alike. To be honest, it always catches me by surprise. For the enemy is always a step behind me whispering, “No one is listening. They don’t care. You’re wasting your breath. You should do something else with your life…”  It’s a constant noise or, as I say, his Temptation to be “Normal.”  But I just tell him I’ll preach to an empty church so long as it’s God’s will.

Your donations go toward the expenses of this entire apostolate — online writings, webcasts, websites, staff, keeping up technology, etc. — expenses which are on average about $270,000 a year. It’s a miracle that God has provided all these years just enough to help us make it to the end of the year. But He does that by inspiring you — an amazing, supportive, faithful readership.

More importantly, the letters I’m reading are beautiful… including many who found their faith again through this apostolate. This is what it’s all about. Your generosity has simply enabled me to dedicate my time to writing, prayer, research, video production, and travelling to speak at conferences and retreats.

Said one reader from Michigan:

Your inspired writings are an anchor in the storm, a light in the dark, sanity in chaos, truth spoken in love. —L.M.

From Missouri:

…you are a voice of reason in a storm of insanity. —T.U.

Your messages are sanity, calm, & hope for me in these times. —J.S., Wisconsin

And from Australia:

I have been reading your messages for what must be 20 years. Thank you for your dedication and what you have done for me. Your messages are powerful and give me strength to keep going. —M.B.

So, I rejoice along with you that the Lord is making His presence and power felt through this apostolate.

I am headed to Texas this weekend to speak at a conference where we will be praying for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit on those gathered. On Sunday, there will be a healing service after Mass. I was going to advertise it to my readers here, but the conference had already sold out before I could say a word! So please pray for us and all those gathering.

There are several words purcolating on my heart that I am eager to speak about when I return… With gratitude for your love and support. Back atacha!

Mark
