Fires and riots have been spreading across Europe. Socialism is beginning to grip America, all the while governments across the world are now telling their citizens to stockpile food and supplies. And then this message allegedly from Jesus: “Something great is about to happen.” We’re going to discuss that next on Countdown to the Kingdom. Hello, I’m Mark Mallett, and welcome to Countdown to the Kingdom. It’s been a while, and it’s so good to have my colleague back with me as well, Daniel O’Connor. Welcome from New York.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 00:47
From New York, Mark. Good to be back.

Mark Mallett • 00:50
Yeah, it’s been months since we’ve been together, and there’s so much going on in the world. You know, before we jump into this message from Salima Gomez from Quebec, Canada, I would just like your take on it. We haven’t discussed this prior to the show, but I would like your take on since the last time we did a webcast, it’s been several months, just your general sense of what’s going on in the world, where we’re at prophetically. I know many people would probably accuse you and I of, you know, we’re always saying that this is coming, things are coming. What would you say to someone, for instance, who says, you guys, you’re always saying the same thing. So why don’t you start with telling me where you think we’re at in the world, what your senses of what’s going on, and how you would respond to that kind of a criticism?

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 01:39
That’s absolutely a valid question and a valid criticism, but I think it’s got an even more valid response. Because if you look at when we started this push that we’ve been on since Mark and I began our webcast together, when did it start? Well, we started Counter the Kingdom providentially just the very day the COVID lockdowns hit America. And of course, we didn’t know that was coming at all, but we sensed the need to start this. And we did. And COVID itself, I believe, was the opening of the seals. So if you want to argue against this urgency that we’re trying to impart, feel free. But I would ask, when have we backed off? We’ve been saying we’re nearing this precipice. We’re getting closer and closer to this precipice. And if you want to say, okay, that was an invalid warning, I would ask you to name a time when we’ve backed off from the precipice, because I don’t believe we have. COVID itself, you know, I put up an article right in the early months of it, basically saying this is the devil’s dress rehearsal. COVID isn’t it, but it’s the preparation for it. When it comes, COVID will have laid the groundwork for it. And I still absolutely stand by that. So right when the COVID’s here and he faded, that was apocalyptic in its own right. We’ve already done webcasts on that. And if you can’t see that, please just focus on one thing for now. The devil, the Antichrist, what do they above all hate? The Christ, Jesus. Where do we above all find him? In the Eucharist. When did we see the most historically unprecedented deprivation of the Eucharist in the whole history of the church? The public cessation of the sacrifice of the mass during the COVID lockdowns. Nothing like that has ever happened before. If that wasn’t the Antichrist, nothing was. So we started then. And when have we backed up since then? When the COVID tyranny started to fade. We had the unbelievably prophetic Russia-Ukrainian war burst forth. When that started to fade from headline news. We had the unbelievably prophetic Israel-Gaza war start when that started to fade from headline news. We had the unbelievably prophetic Iranian, the U.S. versus Iran war start. And now we have this AI and UFO deception starting to reach a culmination. None of these signs, none of these individual developments in this prophetic timeline, we’ve backed off from none of them. All of them have simply continued. All these wars continue. All these signs continue. So for someone who says this warning has been given before, therefore it shouldn’t be given again, I’d say it needs to be given again more emphatically now. Because nothing that we’ve seen moving us towards the precipice has decreased. It’s only increased. We’ve got to step up our game. We’ve got to not at all cool down. We’ve got to heat up our game there. That’s what I’d say. What do you think about that?

Mark Mallett • 04:28
Well, I think you’re right on the money. This morning I was just telling my wife, I said, it’s like a candle, a slow burning candle. And, you know, from our perspective, because you and I have been watchmen, we’ve been watching what’s going on intensely. For myself, 21 years of full time watching and praying and listening to the Holy Spirit. And I see absolutely everything I’ve written in 2000 writings, everything that we’ve put on Countdown to the Kingdom. It’s all happening, but it’s like a slow burning candle. And so I look at what’s happened a year ago and I look at now and I can see there’s a little bit of the candle is down. But to someone who’s just a casual observer, who’s, you know, not really paying attention to the signs of the times, they just kind of look around and go, well, the candle’s still burning. It’s still there. Like, what are you guys talking about? Right? The world goes on. But clearly there’s something funky going on in the world. And I think more people, more than not right now, Daniel, I think more than not people are beginning to sense it. They can feel it. And if they’re paying attention to the news at all, you can see it. I mean, the most recent thing that you and I, we were talking about at the beginning of the show is now we’re starting to see governments give this doomsday warning. They’re calling people to stockpile emergency supplies for 72 hours. You’ve got Japan, same thing, 72 hours, food and water. In Germany now, we’ve seen that the screening for military registration is now 18-year-old men have to register for the military. We’re seeing in the UK that they’re now predicting, they’re saying we’re going to have war within a thousand days. And they’ve raised the age of military fighting now for those in the military now from 55 to 65. I mean, so you look at this and these headlines and there’s something going on in the world. But that’s obvious. I think we can see that the world is creeping towards war again. What I think none of us really expected, brother, was for socialism to begin taking its grip in America. I mean, America was the country fighting the Cold War. You and I are old enough to remember. We saw the wall fall. I don’t know how old you were at that time. Maybe you were a peanut, but I was old enough to remember the wall coming down. And America was at the forefront of fighting this evil ideology of communism. But interestingly enough, as you know, Daniel, Our Lady said at Gerabandal that all these things that have been prophesied in Scripture, on Countdown of the Kingdom, they would all start happening, I quote, she said, when communism returns. That was in 19, I think, 61, when communism hadn’t even left yet. It was still in the throes of the Cold War. So when she said communism, when it returns, everybody kind of said, well, what do you mean? You mean it’s going to leave and come back? And I don’t know about you, but as an American, it seems to me it’s coming back and coming back fast.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 07:57
The surge in so-called democratic socialism which is just a euphemism for communism uh it’s it’s stunning and you know i’ve been teaching undergraduates for 10 years now and i never used to hear i mean you’d always hear it but it wasn’t accepted in common and openly admitted to i don’t teach at some liberal elite university i teach at a community college it’s it’s normal people there it’s not um so-called normal people but uh that’s good i love my job i love the people But what’s disconcerting to me is I’m seeing more and more of my undergraduates openly embracing so-called democratic socialism. I think that’s what they call it, right? But really, they’re moving into just full-blown embracing socialism. And, you know, look at what just happened. I think it was last week. Brazil, the biggest Catholic country in the world, you know, I should say the country in the world with the biggest Catholic population, it just elected a socialist again. Now, that’s not huge news because he had already been elected in the past. But the point is, everybody thought those days were over. You know, there was the right wing had seemed to win the day. And then the socialist comes back to power in Brazil, exceeding everyone’s expectations. And then the right wing people, because they know they’re going to be persecuted, they had to flee to America. Just a couple of days ago, they landed in Miami because they would be just thrown in jail just for not being socialist in Brazil. And in America, we’ve got these outright socialist candidates. We’ve got New York City, a socialist mayor just elected there. John Paul II called New York City the capital of the world, which of course is not literal, but it’s very much a harbinger of things to come. What goes on in New York is the financial capital of the world, there’s Wall Street and the financial tentacles spread throughout the world there. We’ve got the socialist candidates who seem to be poised to win in the midterm elections coming up. I pray they don’t, but it’s looking like they probably will. Point is, socialism is certainly coming again. And that prophecy, it looks like it’s being fulfilled before our eyes. The errors of Russia, they have not disappeared. They’ve, in some ways, only ever increased. And in some other arenas, they’ve kind of waited beneath the surface for the right time to burst forth. And it looks like that time is just about now.

Mark Mallett • 10:12
Yeah, and you can’t highlight that enough, that at Fatima in 1917, Our Lady appeared to these three little children and told them, they said, unless Russia is consecrated to my Immaculate Heart, she will spread her errors throughout the whole world, causing wars, persecution, famines, the annihilation of nations. And so the errors of Russia at that time, now this is two weeks before Lenin stormed into Moscow. So the communism hadn’t been birthed. The October Revolution had not yet happened and our lady was warning already that the errors of russia would spread throughout the world well the errors as we now know were atheism practical atheism materialism um uh rationalism scientism the the whole plan of freemasonry and communism was hatched it was hatched by the Freemasons. I don’t know how many people know that, but the popes have, in eight popes, dozens and dozens of papal documents have condemned this because they saw, the popes saw, the dangerous errors of Russia and how it was already these errors were beginning to diminish the belief in God, the belief in the supernatural. And this, of course, has flooded into our church through modernism in which we began to interpret the miracles of Christ in a purely rationalistic way. And now these errors have spread throughout the world and communism, socialism, socialism is really just, it’s almost like the diaper child of communism. It all leads to the same thing, which is, as we’ve seen, tens of millions of deaths around the world. And anyone who thinks, oh, come on, Mark, you know, doesn’t Canada have a socialist program? Yeah, we do. and we’re leading the world right now in euthanasia the west is leading the world in millions and millions of abortions so although the deaths may not look right now like famine that killed millions and millions in the usssr ussr or in china where the the revolution there killed tens of millions we are killing tens of millions in a much more subtle way and covet is one of those instruments As new studies have come out now saying 17 million were killed by what was injected in people. So, Daniel, the errors are spreading and it seems to be leading to something great. And do you want to jump into that message right now or did you have something else you wanted to say?

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 12:58
Oh, man, I could go on a very long rant right now about how all of those evils you just mentioned are exploding so much. I won’t let’s jump into the message but real quick I’ve mentioned this before I wish I had the message in front of me but Jesus says to Louisa the servant of God Louisa Bicaretta something to the effect of that these events will hit when people basically give up on life itself and I’ll find the message and I’ll put it up later but I’ve always seen this and I’ve said this before I’ve always seen this as a prophecy about the legalization of euthanasia I think that’s like the I’m not saying it’s more evil than abortion abortion is murder of the innocent euthanasia is also the killing of the innocent uh but there’s something uniquely symbolic about about the legalization and institutionalization of suicide gk chesterton said that suicide is the supreme evil because it is a rebellion against existence itself he said the thief who steals a diamond praises the thing he steals if not the owner of it he’s not condoning thievery of course but he says the suicide insults everything in the universe by not stealing it he says um that he says suicide is worse symbolically considered than any terrorist outrage a terrorist kills a bunch of people and a bunch of buildings the suicide wipes out the whole world as far as he concerned and then here’s the here’s the line that has always stuck with me the suicide the insults every flower by refusing to live for its sake. And I share that with all of my undergraduates very deliberately because suicide is such a problem among the youth and I want to encourage them all to never even think about that. But also philosophically, just think about the truth of that. A single flower is worth living for. It’s a pathetic little flower. It’s something so glorious. It’s actually worth devoting your life to. And if that’s worth living for, I’m pretty sure you can find something in your life living for. I don’t even ever toy with that thought. Life is always worth living, as Fulton Sheen is most famous for saying, blessed Fulton Sheen, pray for us. So yeah, if there’s ever been a sign of the times, it’s the legalization and institutionalization of suicide euthanasia. I was just standing in the New York State Capitol recently, as it was legalized there. And of course, it’s exploding in Canada. So yeah, these events are at the door. But yeah, let’s move forward with that message, Mark. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Mark Mallett • 15:26
Yeah no that’s profound and uh as a footnote to that you know i just finished um uh recent article on thenoword.com called the suicide of the west and so the this suicide is it’s not only just euthanasia it’s not only people in desperation but it’s actually the suicide of a culture of christendom itself and uh i’ll just briefly have uh scroll down here see if i can find um for instance, Pope Benedict, when he was a cardinal, he said, we notice a self-hatred in the Western world that is strange and can be considered pathological. Yes, the West is making a praiseworthy attempt to completely open to understanding foreign values, but it no longer loves itself. Cardinal Robert Serra, commenting on that, said, Europe seems to be programmed to self-destruct. Its Judeo roots have been forgotten. The West seems to hate itself and to be ready to commit suicide. And that is why, brothers and sisters in Christ, that you’re seeing socialism and communism come up. As blessed Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, communism is returning again upon the West because we have forgotten our values, we have forgotten our roots, we’ve forgotten our morals. And therefore, something great is about And unfortunately, we’re not reading this to be sensational. But again, if this is allegedly from the Lord, I guess he feels that we’re grown up adults enough to hear this message. Again, this comes from Salima Gomez from Quebec, Canada. And this is allegedly from Jesus. So we’re not saying for sure, for certain. The church is still discerning this person. But she’s very credible from what we have seen. She doesn’t seek the limelight. We’ve been trying to get these messages to the light more and more. But this message is serious. And on August 13th, our Lord said, Look around you. See how everything is coming to pass. And so these things, as we were saying at the beginning of the show, Daniel, they’re being fulfilled right before our eyes. It’s a slow-burning candle, but it’s surely burning down. And yet, he says, there are so many people who do not believe, who do not see that something great is about to happen. They believe that everything is normal, that life will continue as it is right now, that they will have all the time in the world to live life however they please. And it reminds me, Daniel, of when our Lord, sorry, I think it was St. Paul who wrote to Jude, or in the book of Jude, that there will be scoffers. St. Peter said this as well. There’ll be scoffers in the last days who say, where is this coming of your Lord? And this is really what Jesus is getting at in this message. And he says, poor children.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 18:24
Yeah, I think that was St. Peter. He specifically says that in the last days there’ll be scoffers who mock us for saying, Jesus promised he’s coming. Where is he? And he says they are deliberately ignoring reality. Basically, we don’t have the pastors in front of us now, but he’s saying those are the people who are ignoring reality. Those scoffers. And those scoffers today, they often come from within the very Church itself.

Mark Mallett • 18:46
Yeah, isn’t that true? I was contemplating that earlier today, particularly with the apparitions at Magigoria, which have received the nail upset of the Church. The Rouini Commission that was established by Pope Benedict XVI affirmed the supernatural character of the first seven apparitions, and there was no ruling really on the latter because they’re still continuing. You look at the fruits of Medjugorje, over 600 documented priests. I think many are not documented because I’ve spoken to them. Men like, I’m thinking of the poster child of Divine Mercy, Father Don Calloway.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 19:30
Father Don Calloway.

Mark Mallett • 19:32
Yeah. I mean, these guys are shaking Satan’s kingdom. And yet he got his vocation through the messages of Medjugorje.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 19:41
I mean, he has single-handedly done more for souls than all of the critics of Medjugorje combined. And yet still that’s all they can think to do is just lambast these messages, which even if they weren’t from Our Lady, which they are, would be very edifying messages. So it’s mind-boggling to me that this is what people, what the scoffers wanted to devote their energy to is opposing this. But, you know, Scripture said it will happen. The scoffers will come, and they have come.

Mark Mallett • 20:11
And something great is going to come through Medjugorje, the ten secrets that were given to the six seers who have remarkably, stunningly, in fact, kept the information in those secrets secret. They don’t even talk about it among themselves. That alone is extraordinary. But the seers do say that if they have ever tried to speak about them, the Lord does stop them. But I’m thinking too of my aunt. I just learned, there’s a famous photo out there, Daniel, apparently it’s a photograph of Our Lady. I just learned at my dad’s funeral, it was taken by my great aunt. She was there at Medjugorje and at the base of Mount Krezevec. She had terrible arthritis. She couldn’t make it up the mountain at all. She was in such pain. She blacked out, she said. When she came to, she was at the top of the mountain, completely physically healed of her arthritis the next day or two she went into a chapel and she was present during the apparition of one of the seers and she now the daughter my second cousin’s telling me this she said she felt the camera in her hands her hands literally were lifted without her her moving the camera herself her hands were lifted and she took a photo of the wall and when they developed it this famous picture of our lady holding jesus is what developed i’ll have to share it with my readers

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 21:37
Yeah you got to put that up man but yeah

Mark Mallett • 21:42
But I mean you hearstories like this and they’re by the thousands the tens of thousands from medjugorje and yet why are our catholic apologists nitpicking um but anyway i’ll just say that um and it’s you and i critical it’s not that we’re uncritical people know that anyone who follows counter the kingdom knows that we’ve actually removed some seers from the website because of certain issues and it’s not a declaration on their authenticity or not but it’s enough for us to say we’re not going to continue to discern that particular seer because we have better ways to spend our time and there’s other seers right now who aren’t as controversial so I think we’ve showing ourselves to be critical, but it’s ultimately up to the bishops to make these final discernments. But anyway, that’s a nice little segue. Why don’t we continue then? Because Jesus then says to the scoffers, poor children, their awakening will be brutal, for they do not know when death may take them by surprise. Death may surprise them while they are sleeping, celebrating, or enjoying themselves. And at that moment, there will be gnashing of teeth. Prepare yourselves today, tomorrow. It may be too late. That reminds me of messages to both Jennifer and Pedro Regis, and then also the Gospel of Jesus. So first of all, to Pedro, our lady has repeatedly said, as we’ve heard, don’t put off till tomorrow, which you need to do today. To Jennifer, our Lord has said that from one moment to the next, people will disappear. And so these are grave times. And when we look at how the culture of death is spreading across the world, and that it says in Scripture, God will not be mocked, people will reap what they sow. This message shouldn’t be a surprise to any Christian who is alive to the signs of the times. There is no sign, Daniel, of a global repentance of the kind of conversion that was being asked at Fatima, that has been asked at apparition sites all over the world. And the thing that came to my mind as I was reading this was Jesus saying, it will be like the days of Noah, right up until the day that the door of the ark was closed.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 24:12
I have that on my other screen, and I was about to say it. Go ahead and read it, man. Finish reading it. I’m sorry to interrupt you, but I just, we didn’t plan this, but I literally have that on my screen right here because I was going to bring it up now. And I guess I should say it just because I can read it here. He said, as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day that Noah entered the ark and the flood came and destroyed them all. Similarly, as it was in the days of Lot, They were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building. On the day when Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained from the sky to destroy them all. So it will be in the day the Son of Man is revealed. But then he also says, remember the wife of Lot. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it. Why does he say remember the wife of Lot? Well, mark, pop quiz, what did the wife of Lot do when Sodom was destroyed? Do you remember?

Mark Mallett • 25:12
She looked back at the life she had. Yeah.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 25:17
Don’t look back. Jesus is going to bring, whether, you know, we can look at this literally or symbolically. And I actually don’t mean literally, literally. Like, I don’t think there’s going to be too much people turning into salt. Maybe. Maybe. But, I mean, in your own life, Jesus, the will of God, leads you out of some sinful habit, some lifestyle that was clearly not as well. Don’t even play with the thought in your head of turning back to it. because we all get that temptation at some point. The temptation to be normal again. Mark and I have talked about this 10 years ago, I think, Mark. You leave something behind that clearly was not God’s will for you. And then maybe even years later, you start fondly recalling it. Don’t even recall it. Don’t even play with that. Don’t even think about going back to sinful ways. That’s what the wife of Lot did. She was told not to look back, but she looked back at Sodom, and she was turned to a pillar of salt. but that’s also true with the world at large jesus is going to purify us i’ve got so many messages here we’ll save it for a future webcast because if i start going into these i’ll go on and on forever but jesus is just constantly telling the servant of god louis pico reza about how he is purging in order to rebuild he is purifying in order to rejuvenate all of this is for a purpose but he says it’s harder and i can i can verify this from experience because i’ve done both it is so much harder to renovate than to build from a clean slate because to renovate you got to tear down a bunch of things and then rebuild it he says that’s what i’m doing now i’m not going to start from a clean slate again he’s not going to wipe out the world again like the flood but he is going to have to largely tear it down in a renovation the flood he decided i’m starting from a clean slate just noah and his and his family uh what’s coming is going to be a remnant and it’s going to be a small remnant in percentage but please god let it be a big remnant in an absolute number. Join that remnant, which is the refuge of the immaculate heart of Our Lady. But Jesus also says here in the gospel we’re talking about, so this is absolutely, infallibly true. He says, I tell you on that night where there will be two people in one bed, one will be taken, the other will be left. Two women grinding meal together, one taking, the other left. Now, a Protestant would look at this and think of the rapture, but of course, as Catholics, we don’t believe in the rapture. This isn’t about the rapture. I think this can be taken, well, I think all the prophecies in scripture, or at least almost all of them have multiple valid layers of fulfillment. But I think one fulfillment of this is the chastisements that are coming. How some people, even in the same family, this isn’t about where you live or your bloodline or anything. This is about your soul, whether it’s in the grace of God, in the refuge of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. There will be some in the same household who are not in the remnant and who are. And there’s going to be a line in the sand. You can’t let even your loved ones pull you into your old ways or into a life of sin. You can’t love anyone so much that you follow them to hell. And don’t take that the wrong way. Don’t ever despair of someone’s salvation. Even if they’re not in the remnant or whatever, God can absolutely overwhelm them with mercy at the moment of his death. And Jesus is constantly talking about that to St. Faustina and the servant of God, Luis Picoretta, overwhelming mercy. So pray for them. But your job is first and foremost your own soul. So don’t ever let love for loved ones take you off of that straight and narrow way of our Lord. And then finally this passage ends with Jesus saying, The apostle said to him in reply, Where, Lord? And he said to them, Where the body is, there the eagles will gather. And one translation, which unfortunately is not the best one, we actually read the Mass, the New American Bible, says, There the vultures will gather. the Douay-Rheims Bible and the Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition, which are better translations, they say where the eagles will gather. The eagles are the contemplatives, those who are in constant prayer. The body, the Eucharist. That’s the best interpretation, I think, of that verse. So who are those who remain, who survive, who endure this great trial that is coming? Those who are in prayer and who are living lives centered on the Eucharist. So much in that gospel passage. Sorry if that derailed us a bit there, Mark, but you brought I figured I’d dive into it.

Mark Mallett • 29:30
Yeah. No, that’s wonderful. I think we’re ending up, we’re probably going to just kind of focus more on Salima because there’s another message that he gave on August 7th, and it dovetails exactly with what you’re saying. Jesus said, prepare yourselves. If anyone wants to follow me, let him deny himself. In these days which are the last, that is the end time. So here, if this is an authentic message from Christ, he’s saying in these days which are the last. Now, as we have said repeatedly on Countdown to the Kingdom, this is not the end of the world, but this is the last times. It’s the end days, which is the end of an age, followed by a period, an era of peace, and then comes the end of the world. And we have explained all of this on our website at Countdown to the Kingdom, going back to the early church fathers. the patristic writings and of course all this has been confirmed in private revelation but jesus is saying in these last days how difficult it is to deny oneself when everything pushes you toward vanity to do anything to take first place to be noticed flattered and to attract attention i mean this is he’s describing social media right now my wife and i were discussing the other day just how many people are putting themselves on social media and selling themselves or literally selling themselves if you know on on terrible websites like OnlyFans or but even just on more benign websites like TikTok, Instagram, women even Catholic women are wearing low-cut brow blouses or yoga pants or things that just are tantalizing and we’re selling ourselves for clicks. And so Jesus says, in order to achieve this, you trample on others or destroy the life of a person or a family. Blessed are those who succeed in denying themselves and who follow in my footsteps. Sorry, yes, great will be the reward in heaven. Stop trying to dominate, manipulate, and impose yourself on others. Have you not understood that this behavior grieves the Holy Spirit? He cannot dwell in a divided heart. As Jesus said in the Gospels, you cannot serve both God and mammon. We can’t serve social media. We can’t serve the world and still pretend that we’re Christians. Jesus says you’re either going to love one or you’re going to love the other. So take the time to reflect in my words before it is too late. before that fearful day when I will stand before you and when you will see yourselves as you truly are, for nothing will be hidden. Prepare yourselves in prayer. Prepare yourselves to make a sincere examination of conscience by acknowledging your own sins, not the sins of others. Repent and correct your conduct. I’m waiting for you in every confessional. Be honest with yourselves. I know everything. I know everything about each one of you. And despite all this, my love has not changed. I love you. Never forget this. He says, before that fearful day when you will see yourselves as you truly are, and we’ve discussed this thoroughly on Countdown to the Kingdom of several Catholic mystics, if not Revelation chapter 6 and the sixth seal of this time coming, when people will have an illumination of conscience, when they will see themselves as if they’re standing before the Lord. We call it the warning, the illumination of conscience. This would begin in Garibandau, but other mystics like St. Faustina and others have a father, a servant of God, Father Stefano Gobi have spoken about it. So when Jesus says, brother, that something great is about to happen, you know, I think it’s that. I think it’s this coming illumination. I think it’s these events that will take lives in the blink of an eye. And Jesus is simply saying to us, look, you need to prepare yourselves because these are the times in which you’re living. And keep your eyes, as you said earlier. We need to fix our eyes, not look back like Sodom’s wife, or sorry, Lot’s wife. But we need to fix our eyes on heaven. This is not our home, as St. Paul says. We’re strangers and sojourners. So fix your eyes on heaven. That’s the eternal place where we need to be preparing and getting ready to go.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 34:10
Amen. Spend more time in cemeteries. That’s actually advice that the secular philosopher Heidegger gave. And he was a terrible, terrible man. But that was one really good piece of advice he gave. And I say that now because we’re about to enter the month of November, which is especially dedicated to the Holy Souls and Purgatory. And you get a plenary indulgence just for visiting a cemetery and praying for the souls there under the usual condition. So please don’t miss that opportunity. So that’s above all important because of the prayers we offer for the faithful departed. But also just there’s something uniquely powerful about spending time there. And, you know, if your soul is not right with God, you’ll be kind of afraid of a cemetery. So that’s kind of a good examination of conscience in and of itself. I mean, being okay with a cemetery is no proof that you’re right with God. But that’s one thing you want to make sure you’re comfortable with, is going there and spending time with the mortal remains of the faithful departed. And meditate on how that’s your goal, that’s your destiny as well, to be worm food there. That’s awesome. I actually just, one of my favorite things to do is just to walk in a cemetery and think about how this, all the trials of this life, they’ll be over so soon. And we’ll be there with the vast majority of people who have ever lived. The vast majority of humans who have ever lived are already on the other side. this little thing we have here called temporal life, it’s so fleeting, it’s so tiny, it’s so insignificant in and of itself. But it’s incomprehensibly significant because here we decide eternity, which you can’t even begin to comprehend the slightest bit of. But please meditate on that every night as you go to bed. Just the infinitude of eternity and how whatever decision you make here, whether it’s for or against God, it can never change. Never any second chances is decided here. So yeah, be ready because if you are not prepared at your death, that’s the worst possible thing. But if you’re not prepared at this great event that’s coming, that’s not far from it. Because if you see your soul as God sees it, which will happen in this warning, this illumination of conscience. Father Stefano Gobi, you mentioned, Mark, he’s a servant of God now, which is extraordinary. One of the priests, jump in if you remember his name, I forgot it, unfortunately. but one of the top priests in the Marian movement of priests, top promoters of Father Gobi’s messages, he was just beatified. So this is huge. I mean, there’s no turning back for these messages. This is from God. That doesn’t mean every single bit is infallible. It doesn’t mean you have to believe it, but it does mean it’s very safe to believe, and I recommend you do believe them. He refers to this as the judgment in miniature. So it’s not Judgment Day itself, of course. That’s only at the end of time. But it’s a great mercy of God and giving us a little mini judgment day because he understands how mired in sin and error the world is now he understands how almost impossible it is for most people to climb up out of this dictatorship of relativism on their own so he mercifully gives this brief explosion of grace to the whole world where everybody gets a chance to see their soul as god sees it and uh you want to be if you’re hearing this which you know a very small fraction of the world is going to hear this probably, I don’t know, maybe Mark is planning on this getting 8 billion views but I have a feeling it won’t get 8 billion views

Mark Mallett • 37:30
we’re hoping for 800

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 37:32
800 would be nice yeah, whatever it is it’s going to be a very small fraction of the world you’re among those select few souls the Delta Force the SEAL Team 6 of the church militant who needs to not spend the days after the warning just sitting there licking your wounds and trying not to die of terror. You need to be among those who’s ready to hit the ground running because this is going to be the greatest harvest of souls in history, the days after the warning. And I’m not saying wait for that, you know, evangelize now, do everything you can now. I’m just saying, most importantly, have your soul ready now so that whatever comes upon the world, whether it’s the warning or your own death or just the sheer magnitude of the world falling apart before your eyes, which will happen soon, you need to be ready for that. Spiritually, physically, I think is wise as well. I mean, I’m not, I don’t encourage survivalism, but I do encourage preparedness. If the secular governments out there even are saying, get three days of food, I think it’s a good idea to multiply that by 10 and get that at least that much. Whatever they’re saying, they’re probably saying it so that you run out right when things are at their worst, because they want to be able to pretend they warned you, but they actually want you to be in dire straits. You know, that might be the actual plan here. Get more than they’re saying, I’d say. If you can’t, that’s okay. Most importantly is the spiritual aspect of this. Getting your soul so ready, so in God’s grace, that doing God’s will is second nature. That you don’t need to sit there and think about it and decide upon it. That you’re actually living in it. That’s the ultimate calling is to actually live in the will of God. And you can do it if you ask for it.

Mark Mallett • 39:05
Food is easy for Jesus. He can multiply our food. What he can’t multiply is our will. We have our own free will. And in the third message that we wanted to look at tonight from Salima, Jesus said, I must respect your freedom. Do you see how fragile you are? You are easily distracted. You become troubled over the slightest thing. It is up to you to choose the inspirations given to you by the Holy Spirit or the inspirations given to you by the other, that is the devil. And depending on your choice, you will experience the consequences of what you have freely chosen and how I would have wished to spare you so much suffering. But you have made your own choices, and I must respect your freedom. That reminds me, I don’t know if you can recall this quote, but Jesus speaks about how he wanted to bring his kingdom, the kingdom of the divine will that we pray for every day in the Our Father. He said, I wanted to bring it to you through love. through our freedom he says you might have that quote there because it’s worth reading again to

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 40:11
our it’s i have it so close keep keep talking and i might have it in like 20 seconds sure it because

Mark Mallett • 40:18
this is we’ll give him time to find this because this quote is so important for people to understand how much the triumph of the immaculate heart how much of what’s happening in the world today is dependent on us. And this is why it’s taking so long. God is patient, it says in 1 Peter, because he wishes that no one would perish, but that all would be saved. And that’s why he was patient with Noah leading up to the days of Noah’s Ark and why he’s patient today, because when God finally moves to purify the earth, according, for instance, to one mystic, Mary Julie Jeheny, Jesus told her that three-quarters of the earth will not be here. And so that’s why, and on the one hand, these are grave times. On the other, we’re all going to die someday. And so we need to be prepared, whether that’s tonight or whether that’s through the chastisements, man-made labor pains that we’ve created, or however it may be. But here’s the quote from Servant of God, Louisa Picoretta, And how Jesus is telling us how much we are influencing the outcome of these things.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 41:31
He doesn’t want to chastise us at all. This was his last resort. This is what he says to Luisa. He says, the supreme fiat, that is the divine will, wants to get out. That is, it wants to rain on earth. It is tired. And at any cost, it wants to get out of this agony so prolonged. This agony of centuries where it has not rained on earth, he’s speaking of. He says, of an agony of centuries. My will wants to get out. Therefore, it prepares two ways. The triumphant way, which are its knowledges, its prodigies, and all the good that the kingdom of the supreme fiat will bring, and the way of justice for those who do not want to know it as triumphant. It is up to the creatures, he says, it is up to the humans to choose the way in which they want to receive it. So he’s saying, my divine will is going to reign because the one and only prayer I taught and commanded to be prayed, Jesus says, is the Our Father, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. That was a promise and a prophecy that’s going to happen. It’s guaranteed to happen. Nothing else is more guaranteed than that. The only question is how it’s going to reign, by justice or by love, by us wanting God’s will to reign and loving it and knowing about what he wants to do or by way of the destruction and the chaos and the chastisements. We’ve already spurned God for too long for it to be entirely by way of love. Chastisements are coming. I’m sorry, but that’s a fact. But up until the very moment it’s in the past, our response can still dramatically mitigate the scope, severity, and duration of the chastisements. The more we do to proclaim the will of God, the more we love it, the more we live in the divine will, the more we proclaim God’s mercy and his love, the more, I should say, the less that justice needs to do to prepare the way. So it’s up to us, he says. Choose what you want, justice or love. He’s not forcing justice on us. He wants us to choose the love.

Mark Mallett • 44:07
And I think this is why things are seemingly, according to our own human wisdom and perspective, it seems to be dragging out. it’s not dragging out god is allowing us to make choices to um to reap in a good way what we sow if we sow in peace he lets us reap that peace that’s also a law he says make no mistake man will reap what he sows so a microcosm of this would be for instance in your own home you could choose to say something nasty to your wife or your husband you could choose the the the the uh the path of unforgiveness and cling to that for years. But if you’ve ever forgiven somebody and seen the healing that then ensues, suddenly the war between you that was heading perhaps towards culminating something awful that could really have destroyed your family, destroyed your marriage, destroyed your community in a sense, because these things often do flow outward. These things end when we choose peace, when we choose to forgive, as our Lord said. So that’s a microcosm of what happens in the world when, say, a nation decides not to go to war or when a nation decides to help the poor. We do have a path we can choose when a nation chooses to vote for a candidate who doesn’t represent communism and socialism. So these are the ways that we can impact the future. not necessarily written in stone that said Jesus says here in that message he says you’re in the last days you’re in the end times because when the apostles asked Jesus what are the signs of the end times Jesus breathlessly tells them immediately oh well nation will rise against kingdom kingdom against kingdom a nation against nation there will be famines plagues earthquakes from place to place false prophets will work he says all this breathlessly because Jesus in that moment understands human nature he understands that ultimately humans and he knows this are going to rebel we’re going to persevere in rebelling we’re not going to accept his grace and this was his grief in the garden of gethsemane when as we hear in the 24 hours of the passion and this this is heartbreaking many of us have tried to interpret what did jesus mean in gethsemane when he said, Father, take this cup away from me, but not my will, but yours be done. I mean, I for the longest time thought Jesus was simply saying in his humanity, oh, you know, Father, I can’t suffer this. Crucifixion’s brutal. The crown of thorns, the whipping that they’re going to do. I know they’re going to beat the snot out of me. Father, can you take this cup away? But then we read in the words he gave to servant of God, Luisa Picoretta, that that wasn’t his attitude at all. In fact, he begged the Lord for more sufferings. He begged the Father to give him more if he could save more souls. So Jesus’s agony in the garden was that he couldn’t save everyone. That despite what he was suffering, this cup that he had, the cup of bitterness he drank, was that he couldn’t save everyone. and he loves everyone every single soul all the way down to Genghis Khan and Hitler and Mayo so we see how how the love of Christ is reaching out and he wants to save us but our free will is preventing him from doing so I’ve lost the train in my thought there I’m not even sure where I was going that’s the line

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 47:51
that has always most stuck with me from the hours I mean the hours of passion will completely unmake you if you do them please do the hours of the passion i’ve got them posted on my website they’re easy to find if you just google it the 24 hours of the passion of our lord jesus christ given to the servant of god luis picoreta uh jesus this was one of the chief missions of saint hany balde francia canonized saint fully reliable he was begging people to do these hours because jesus even promised that he’d save a soul for every word of these that you piously meditate on he said you mitigate the chastisements he said if one soul would do these hours regularly a whole city would be spared chastisements uh but most importantly is what jesus reveals about himself in those hours and that and that in the garden that was what stuck with me most he’s not like he he he had no fear of pain not in his divine nature and not in his human nature he wanted to suffer as much as he possibly could you see him in the hours basically entering into a dialogue a mystical dialogue with the most hardened evil souls basically begging them let me remain on this cross until the end of time if you will just accept my mercy. He’s just overflowing with desire to suffer as much as conceivably possible just to save a single soul, even Judas. He’s there weeping at the feet of Judas, begging him because Jesus knows everything. He knows Judas is going to choose hell, but he’s still there at the feet of Judas, begging him, let me save you. Please let me save you. I’ll suffer anything you want just let me save you because the worst chastisement for jesus which blows away everything else the worst pain for jesus i should say which blows away everything else is a single soul choosing hell uh and jesus loves your loved ones way more than you do so please don’t ever lose hope for them because he’s going to pour out his mercy during their lives and if never else during at the very moment of their death so never lose hope for anyone but he’s uh this he also through he says also that because of this he could have saved the world with a single drop of blood he also tells the way so he could have saved the world with a snap of his fingers but he’s doing much more than just saving us he says he’s building the kingdom of the divine will through his sufferings uh in addition to so much more but he also i’ll really quickly share a line or two from this message here but and i think because they talk about the times we’re in now to louisa he says Oh, iniquitous world, you are doing everything you can to cast me away from the face of the earth, to banish me from society, from schools, from conversations, from everything. You are plotting how to demolish temples and altars, how to destroy my church and kill the ministers. But where you have banished me, I will raise my throne and I will reign more than before in a more astounding way. So much so that you yourself will fall at the foot of my throne. as though bound by the strength of my love. And I just wanted to share that message as we’re talking about these impending chastisements and this rebellion against God that we’re seeing in society. Because Jesus, all God knows how to do is win. He doesn’t know how to do anything else. All he does is win. And wherever it seems like he’s losing most, that’s actually where he’s going to win most in the times ahead. So don’t ever despair. The worst news gets, I mean, don’t be flippant about it. I don’t want to encourage flippancy. Our hearts need to break for the suffering that’s happening in the world. But at the end of that also needs to be the overwhelming joy and hope, knowing that wherever it’s worst, it’s going to be best soon. Jesus is going to triumph the most in the very places they’ve most sought to expel him. That’s what he says to Louisa here.

Mark Mallett • 51:30
Humanity is at a crossroads again to either accept God, to accept his word, to accept the path. And it’s written in the hearts of all of us. People have a conscience. We all have a conscience and we can dull it. We can harden it. But I’m so moved again, as I read in the mass readings a few weeks ago from Serac 15, where it says, God in the beginning created human beings and made them subject to their own free choice. If you choose, you can keep the commandments. Loyalty is doing the will of God. Set before you are fire and water to whatever you choose. Stretch out your hand before everyone or life and death. Whichever you choose will be given you. And so this is what’s happening with humanity. This goes right back to the beginning of our show. Why are we seeing hatreds and war spreading? As Our Lady said in Medjugorje this past week, This is the most recent message, if I can find it. It was given to Maria in the 25th of October. Dear children, a fire of hatred and wars is spreading in the hearts of people who do not want peace, but their own weak interests. So we’re choosing our interests. We hear this often from the American government, our national interests. We want the oil. We want this. And sometimes those are weak interests when they involve war, going to war and fighting and killing and crushing the rights of others. You know, right now there’s a terrible trade war between America and Canada where we can hardly ship anything anymore to the States. I had to ship back something yesterday, Daniel. It was a $40 item. No, sorry, $80 item. And it was going to cost me $60 to return it, even though it was an Amazon return. And this is the kind of thing that’s going on that’s creating hatred and war. And you can see how many people, not me, but in my country, are starting to turn America, our greatest neighbor ever, into an enemy. And this is what Our Lady is speaking about. Because we’re stretching forth our hand, we’re denying the truth. As Jesus says in this message, let’s go back to it, to Salima. Jesus says, the Father has given you the commandments to follow. The church offers you the sacraments that will help you remain in a state of grace. Remember that no one can claim to be without sin, for whoever says so is a liar. The church has given you the list of sins to avoid. I have given you everything to warn you against your evil inclinations against yourselves. You must learn to control your human nature if you want to follow me, if you want to take the way of perfection, the path that will lead you to heaven. And so with these remaining minutes we have left, brother, that’s the bottom line. People, as we’ve heard in Scripture, people will say, well, you know, atheists say this, God’s ways are unfair. God allows the suffering. He allows these people to, you know, abuse children and for people to starve to death. No, he doesn’t. As it says, I think, in Ezekiel, God says, you say my ways are unfair? Is it not your ways that are unfair? And it is. We have all the food in the world to feed the hungry. We have all the resources to drill wells for everyone to have clean water. we have all the knowledge at our fingertips through the internet in order to learn and know the truth the truth that will set us free and yet we are hardening our hearts to God and as a result of this something great is about to happen in the world and at first it’s not going to be good eventually it will be good Our Lady said in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph and the world will be given a period of peace. And oh, how God wanted to bring that peace. Oh, how he wanted to establish the kingdom of the divine will through love and through our cooperation with grace. But instead, we have rejected the kingdom of the divine will. We mock Christianity. We are casting it to the ground as we see evidenced in the burning of churches, the smashing of statues, and the vilification of Christianity. in the murder of Christians in Nigeria and elsewhere. This is the path we have chosen. And so Jesus said to St. Faustina, Oh, he says, how my divine mercy, he says, I don’t want to strike you. I don’t want to move my hand of justice. Therefore, before the day of justice, I’m giving you this day of mercy. But brother, the day of mercy, this time of grace is coming to an end. And from what we see from heaven, sooner than later. Your final thoughts before I’ll read the last paragraph of that initial message to Salima.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 57:12
the cross that is coming. We, if you are in God’s grace, you can use whatever cross is coming to be purged of your imperfections. Jesus tells Louisa that those who are in his grace, they charge forward heedless of the storm. Heedless of the storm. We use the waters of the storm to be washed. But if you’re not in God’s grace, you look at those same waters and you hate them and you rebel against them and all you can think about is the pain of it. It’s about how you respond to the circumstances. Trust that everything that comes to you is from God’s hand. Trust in the divine will. Know that nothing apart from God’s will happens, and you have thereby become essentially invincible.

Mark Mallett • 57:51
As the scriptures say, God desires, he wills that everyone will be saved. So, God is going to allow these wars, famines, and persecutions to happen, but he will order them towards saving the maximum number of souls. In that message to Salima that something great is about to happen, he ends it by saying, Do not be afraid. All things must be fulfilled. Heaven has warned you so that you will not be taken by surprise. Do not be afraid, for the Lord is good to the soul that seeks Him. He protects it, guides it, and fills it with His love and with all the graces it needs. Praise and bless the name of the Lord, and you will see all the wonders he has done and does for all who love him. When these events occur, praise and bless the name of the Lord, as Daniel was saying, and you will see how you will be protected if you believe, if you have faith, when all seems lost. I love you. Well, Daniel and I love you too. It’s been our privilege to be with you again, And we hope it won’t be so long between our videos, but we’re praying for you. Please pray for us. These are serious times, and we promise, if God allows it, we’ll be here to walk and journey with you. I’m Mark Mallett on behalf of Daniel and Peter and all of us who’ve been behind Countdown. God bless you, and we’ll see you next time.

Prof. Daniel O’Connor • 59:21
