Dear family of readers,
The Lord has been moving powerfully in my heart the past couple of weeks as a new phase (I don’t know how else to put it) is coming into view. My writings explaining the Faith this past month are part of it (which I’ll explain another time). But where are we going? Where are these writings leading us? Is there more we can do to prepare for the revolution that is breaking out around us?
Yes! I feel in the days ahead that the Lord is going to pour out more understanding, focus, and grace to prepare us for the Great Shaking that is here and coming. But far more than that, He is simply preparing us for Himself (more on that in the days and weeks to come!)
He is inviting us “into the deep”… into the still waters of the “interior life” where we will find strength for everything. In many ways, Psalm 46 is what I will be unpacking in the months ahead:
God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress. Thus we do not fear, though earth be shaken and mountains quake to the depths of the sea, though its waters rage and foam and mountains totter at its surging.
Streams of the river gladden the city of God, the holy dwelling of the Most High. God is in its midst; it shall not be shaken; God will help it at break of day. Though nations rage and kingdoms totter, he utters his voice and the earth melts. The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob.
Come and see the works of the LORD, who has done fearsome deeds on earth; who stops wars to the ends of the earth, breaks the bow, splinters the spear, and burns the shields with fire; “Be still and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.” The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. (Ps 46:2-12)

I want to be brief today because the main purpose of writing you is that it is time, once again, to implore your support for The Now Word. As many of you know, this is a full-time endeavor for me — the research, prayer, writings, webcasts, etc. There is no charge for any of it.
Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. (Matthew 10:8)
The reason I don’t put The Now Word into a series of books is twofold: one is the imminence of the word, which would otherwise be delayed if I were to wait to publish it in a book. Second, is that I can give it to you freely, which is a delight for me!

Because of the generosity of many of you (you know who you are!), I have been able to focus entirely on the “now word” and minister also to those who are unable to give. Thanks be to God!
And so, with that, I am reduced once again to a beggar so that we can pay our bills and continue this work. Moreover, I am eternally grateful for the prayers, Masses offered, and letters of encouragement I receive on a weekly basis. I know the Lord will return your generosity a hundred-fold in the ways that He sees fit to bless you.
