The UFO Delusion – Part I

or on YouTube

Several years ago, my family was passing through Saskatchewan, Canada. The area we were traveling that night was renowned for “UFO sightings.” We discussed it in the car with a certain intrigue. Admittedly, I was hoping we might catch a glimpse of a spacecraft as my eyes squinted into the black sky.

Back then, my dad drove a big Dodge car where you could stretch out on the back window sill and watch the clouds or stars pass by. I crawled over the back seat onto the ledge and looked up. Suddenly, there were 6 bright lights in a row, seemingly hovering there. No lamposts, nothing but the lights. And then suddenly, they were gone.

A Prophetic Warning?

Fast forward about 20 years ago or so. I was taking a prayer walk down our country road when… I don’t know how else to explain this… but a “now word” was infused in my soul that there was coming a UFO deception. I stood there, stunned. Not something I felt I needed to talk about right away. But I eventually did in a writing called The Coming Counterfeit. I read it just now, and feel what I wrote in 2010 is now unfolding before us as the American Department of War begins its “disclosure” of alleged evidence of UFOs.[1]cf. https://www.war.gov/UFO/ In this webcast, I want to share with you part of what I wrote 16 years ago as it feels prophetic to me today:

I am not certain that we can ignore the increasing manifestation of “UFO’s” and the deception that may accompany this. There is a belief within the New Age that the mythology of the gods and the human race was “birthed” from aliens…. aliens who will return at some point to bring us into an age of peace and harmony. [Note how this is essentially a mockery and counterfeit of the coming Era of Peace expected in Christianity.] One researcher estimates that there are six “sightings” somewhere in the world every hour. I agree with many other Christians that these are deceptions, but on a couple of different levels. For one thing, in those who have been “abducted,” there is often left behind a “residue” of after-effects which are very similar to demonic possession, including at times the smell of sulfur

Let me pause there. I recently heard two testimonies, one at the Winnipeg Men’s Conference I spoke at recently. A young man came up to me and asked if I could put him in touch with my colleague, Prof. Daniel O’Connor, who has written and spoken exhaustively on this subject. “I was abducted,” he told me, giving a few more details of his disturbing encounters. I looked at him intently and said, “So, in your opinion, were these aliens or demons?”

“Oh, demons,” he said.

An evangelical pastor recently recounted how his wife was woken up at 3:00 am in the morning and telepathically heard a voice in her head telling her to come outside. She went to the patio door, and there was a “grey” standing there — your classic-looking “alien.” She felt a paralyzing oppression, but when she invoked the name of Jesus, it disappeared.[2]youtube.com; This is a decent webcast. However, they unfortunately conflate Marian apparitions with UFO encounters saying, this too, is part of the deception. I will address this in the future.

These are but two of countless similar testimonies since 1947 when UFO “encounters” suddenly proliferated. Most unexpectedly was the recent warning from UFO investigators in the Pentagon.

“It’s demonic,” said Devon Woods of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to Luis Elizondo.

There is no reason we should be looking into this. We already know what they are and where they come from. They are deceivers. Demons. —Elizondo 2024, 85; patheos.com

The group of researchers has been dismissed as being “regressive” in thinking, with even Christian writers mocking their concerns as mere “evangelical fundamentalism.” That said, I have never felt that all UFO encounters are de facto demonic…

Advanced Science

While there appears to be a demonic element to UFO abductions, there is also evidence that governments possess far more advanced technology than many realize.

It has long been said by insiders and whistleblowers within the military complex that they are decades ahead of what is rolled out to the public. Of course, these courageous people are dismissed as spreading “misinformation.”

Several years ago, I spoke at a conference with a woman who was deep into the New Age, but converted to Catholicism. She said that, before her conversion about four decades ago, her and a friend sat in the Nevada desert outside Area 51. “For an hour,” she said, “we watched this large craft about a mile wide hovering over the desert floor. Smaller craft were flying in and out of the main craft.” I asked her a question I thought was rhetorical: “Do you think this was demonic?” Without missing a beat, she laughed and said, “Oh, heaven’s no. It was government.

The ability to produce “anti-gravity” effects has been proven, but never allowed to proliferate in the private sector: it could very well be that UFO’s are, in fact, not driven by little green men from Mars, but the product of highly advanced earth technology. This is precisely the conclusion of some who have been involved in high levels of the New Age, but have converted to Christianity. It is also the conclusion of some brilliant scientists and inventors in our time who have been silenced or eliminated when their discoveries and inventions have “gone too far.”

It’s noteworthy what I wrote in 2010, since there has been a recent string of mysterious deaths involving UFO researchers whose work was also on the fringes of anti-gravity and exotic propulsion.[3]cf. dailymail.com Were they too close to exposing advanced human technology? It’s pretty chilling if not telling that their deaths have come right before the U.S. Government’s further disclosure today.

Is a coordinated “UFO invasion” possible? Yes, it’s possible… but not from aliens, rather, powerful people wielding powerful tools of manipulation. For those involved in satanism and black magic, it is an occult rite to inform their victims, usually in veiled messages, of what they will be doing to them [we say “hidden in plain sight”]. For those with power and money, it may often be done through the media in very non-implicating ways. Has the proliferation of Hollywood UFO movies, where “aliens” invade, or attack, or save the earth, been a subtle way of projecting a message to the public under the guise of entertainment [what is called predictive programming]?

…Considering how widespread the world’s fascination with UFOs is (and how they are now mentioned almost weekly in the mainstream media), this is a deception we should keep in mind, for it may play a significant role in the larger deception that will seduce mankind. If you see UFO’s appear over your cities someday, remember what was written here…

Okay, that’s my preamble. But now it’s time to get serious. In Part II, I am going to summarize the best arguments in Catholic Tradition against the belief that rational aliens exist out there, somewhere in the universe…
