THOSE who have been following the prophetic pulse in the Church will likely not be surprised at the turn of world events unfolding by the hour. A Global Revolution is slowly picking up steam as the foundations of the post-modern world begin to give way to a “new order.” Hence, we have arrived at the epic hours of our time, a final confrontation between good and evil, between a culture of life and a culture of death. The wobbling economy, wars, and even environmental degradation are merely the fruits of a bad tree, planted through the lies of Satan through the Enlightenment period over 400 years ago. Today, we are merely reaping what has been sown, tended to by false shepherds, and guarded by wolves, even among Christ’s flock. For perhaps, one of the greatest signs of the times is the growing doubt in the existence of God. And it makes sense. As chaos continues to take the place of Christ, violence displacing peace, insecurity replacing stability, the human reaction is to blame God (instead of recognizing that free will has the capacity to destroy itself). How could God allow hunger? Suffering? Genocide? The answer is how could He not, without trampling upon our human dignity and free will. Indeed, Christ came to show us the way out of the valley of the shadow of death, which we created—not abolish it. Not yet, not until the plan of salvation has reached its fulfillment. cf. 1 Cor 15:25-26
All of this, it seems, is preparing the world for a false christ, a false messiah to pull it out of a death plunge. And yet, this is nothing new: all of this has been foretold in the Scriptures, expounded on by the Church Fathers, and increasingly rolled into focus by the modern pontiffs. No one knows the timing, at least of the whole. But to suggest that it is not a possibility in our era, given all the signs, is woefully shortsighted. It was said best by Paul VI:
There is a great uneasiness at this time in the world and in the Church, and that which is in question is the faith. It so happens now that I repeat to myself the obscure phrase of Jesus in the Gospel of St. Luke: ‘When the Son of Man returns, will He still find faith on the earth?’…I sometimes read the Gospel passage of the end times and I attest that, at this time, some signs of this end are emerging. Are we close to the end? This we will never know. We must always hold ourselves in readiness, but everything could last a very long time yet. —POPE PAUL VI, The Secret Paul VI, Jean Guitton, p. 152-153, Reference (7), p. ix.
It is with that, that I turn back to some words I sensed Heaven saying in 2008. Here, I also share some prophetic words from others that should be discerned, though I make no final claims on their authenticity. I also include here a recent word attributed to the Mother of God at a famous apparition site.
We are it seems, brothers and sisters, living in the times of the Great Landslide…
First published October 1st, 2008. I have updated this writing.
ON the vigil of the Feast of Mary, Mother of God (2007), I wrote to you the words I was hearing in my heart:
This is the Year of The Unfolding…
Those were followed in the spring (2008) by the words:
The sense was that events around the world were going to unfold very rapidly. I saw three “orders” collapse, one upon the other like dominoes:
The economy, then the social, then the political order.
From this, would rise a New World Order (see The Coming Counterfeit). Then, on the Feast of the Archangels, Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, I heard the words:
My son, prepare for the trials which now begin.
It should be clear by now what is unfolding: the collapse of the old order as we know it. More than one world leader is calling for a new order—notably, the president of Venezuela, who continues to intertwine his country more tightly with Russia:
Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez said he believes a new economic order is in store for the planet… “From this crisis, a new world has to emerge, and it’s a multi-polar world.” —President Hugo Chavez, Associated Press, msnbc.msn.com, September 30th, 2008
The crisis he is speaking of is the burst of the economic bubble of 2008 that prompted statements such as the following:
We need a new global financial order. —European Union Commission President, José Manuel Barroso, www.moneymorning.com, October 24th, 2008
The international financial crisis has given world leaders a unique opportunity to create a truly global society. —Former Prime Minister of the UK, Gordon Brown, Reuters, November 10th, 2008
…a global perestroika [restructuring] would be a logical response to the global crisis… The paradigm of global development is about to change. —Former Russian leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, RIA Novisti, Moscow, November 7th, 2008
The leader of France echoed this as well:
We want a new world to come out of this. —French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, commenting on the financial crisis; October, 6th, 2008, Bloomberg.com
Just this past week (August, 2011), the Chairman of China’s rating agency said the American dollar is to be “gradually discarded by the world” and that the…
…process will be irreversible. —Guan Jianzhong, chairman of Dagong Global Credit Rating, CNBC, August 7th, 2011
As many other honest economic analysts have noted, what occurred in 2008 was just the tipping of the iceberg. The recent downgrading of the United States rating, and the billowing economic crisis in Europe are signs of deeper problems, deeper corruption, deeper ramifications for the entire world. The first few boulders of this passing era are starting to tumble, and they are going to take down the whole mountain-side … the tower of Babel—”Babylon” itself. For a brief moment, Satan and his pawns will attempt to resurrect a New Order (without God), but it will fail, for:
Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. (Psalm 127:1)
LISTEN TO MY PROPHETS!
The events that are here and which are coming are almost too overwhelming for the mind to comprehend. I believe this is why the Lord, especially in the past three years, has raised up many “prophets” to reiterate the same message through different messengers so that we could be more certain of our times. I want to share a few of those messages, perhaps words that are inspired and directed by the Spirit of God.
This is a word which audibly came to a soul who lives in California, who remains anonymous to the public. After hearing it, the image of the Divine Mercy in his living room began to weep many tears (that image is now hanging at the Divine Mercy Center in Michigan). The messages he receives have been discerned by a priest who participated in the canonization process of St. Faustina.
It is I, Jesus.
The world is on the edge of great darkness. Pray for your leaders of all nations. They are all preoccupied by war. I tell you once again, your time is short. There will be earthquakes and great misfortunes for all inhabitants of the earth. Be alert! The one you call Satan wants to take hope away from you. A soul that loses hope is ready to commit sin. Without hope, man is in deep darkness. He no longer sees with the eyes of faith and for him all virtue and goodness lose their value.
There will be more physical and moral suffering. The storm will start when I lift my hand. Give my warning to everyone, especially to priests. Let my warning shake you from your indifference in advance.
Once again, I tell you, do not fear speaking my words. Tell mankind the time is near. My son, you have to speak to the world about my great mercy while there is still time for granting mercy. —March 25th, 2005, Good Friday
When I stayed at his house in California this past year (2011), I asked this man to summarize all the messages he has received from Jesus and Mary over the years. And without pause, he looked at me, and exclaimed, “Prepare!“
This message came to an American mother who claims to have audibly heard Jesus begin speaking to her at Mass. These messages are now freely distributed in a book called, “Words From Jesus“:
This is an hour of great change and these events are just beginning. Many hardships will transpire for all mankind. This is not an hour to be a witness for the world, rather witness the message, the Gospel message. My people, live your mission by standing for the truth. These events of awakening are a result of the number of My little ones killed through abortion….
My child, as I have spoken, the just hand of My Father is about to strike. Continue to be willing to suffer, for the time of warning is near. I will come in radiant splendor and claim My faithful children. My Father’s just hand will serve this world its just punishment for continuing to step ahead of us, your Triune God. The seas will rise, the earth will rock and tremble and mankind will be plagued with war, disease and famine. You will see the coming of the one who will claim he is Me and My people will be grazed and numbered by the authorities who work for this false messiah, this antichrist.
Stay awake, My child, and keep your focus on Me, for I am Jesus the light of the world. I will protect you and My faithful with My heavenly graces. It is by the fire of My love that I yearn for all My children to turn away from the world and come live in My light. —Messages to Jennifer, Words from Jesus, Feb 25th, 2005; March 25th, 2005; www.wordsfromjesus.com
There is a person who goes by the name, Pelianito. I have met her, a prayerful and quiet soul. In the author’s blog, this message of hope summarizes what many are saying, not the least the Church Fathers and the Popes cf. The Popes, and the Dawning Era: that after this present darkness, there will be the dawning of a new “Era of Peace.”
My beloved, maintain your hope. For when the time of trial has passed, you will be amazed at what I will do for you, for the world, and for the whole universe. When the right order of things has been restored, untold joy will follow and will remain. Pray and remain in hope. —September 24th, 2008, www.pelianito.stblogs.com
Lastly, following again the dictate of St. Paul not to despise prophecy, I want to look at a recent alleged message from the famous apparition site of Medjugorje, which has produced enormous fruits for the Church, not the least a tremendous number of priestly vocations. On August 2nd, 2011, the Blessed Virgin allegedly said to Mirjana Soldo:
Dear children; Today I call you to be born anew in prayer and through the Holy Spirit, to become a new people with my Son; a people who knows that if they have lost God, they have lost themselves; a people who knows that, with God, despite all sufferings and trials, they are secure and saved. I call you to gather into God’s family and to be strengthened with the Father’s strength. As individuals, my children, you cannot stop the evil that wants to begin to rule in this world and to destroy it. But, according to God’s will, all together, with my Son, you can change everything and heal the world. I call you to pray with all your heart for your shepherds, because my Son chose them. Thank you.
Here again, the warning is being sounded that there is an “evil that wants to begin to rule this world and to destroy it.” And yet, the answer, the remedy remains the same: prayer of the heart, conversion, and a closeness to the Father through Jesus. Oh, how we glance over those words without thinking! But few understand the depth of their importance. Prayer is essential in these times, for it will help us to discern the voice of the true Shepherd from the false ones, and draw into our souls the graces we need; conversion draws us out of Babylon (symbolic, says Pope Benedict, of “the world’s great irreligious cities”) so that it will not collapse on our heads too; and a personal relationship with God draws us into a union built on love rather than religiosity, fear, or duty.
I also wrote recently about The Coming Refuges and Solitudes, the coming necessity for Christians to draw into communities of love. “As individuals, my children, you cannot stop the evil that wants to begin to rule in this world and to destroy it. But, according to God’s will, all together, with my Son, you can change everything and heal the world.”
These communities are a sign of vitality within the Church, an instrument of formation and evangelization, and a solid starting point for a new society based on a ‘civilization of love’… They are thus cause for great hope for the life of the Church. —JOHN PAUL II, The Mission of the Redeemer, n. 51
DO NOT BE AFRAID!
To those who would despair, afraid of the trial before the triumph, I would remind you again: you were born for these times, and thus, you will have grace for these times.
The above are just a few of the prophetic words emerging in the Catholic world. I have also been sent some messages from our evangelical brothers and sisters, and there are many parallel and consistent themes. The central message is this: Prepare!…
…for the landslide has begun!
