The Promised Kingdom

BOTH terror and exultant victory. That was the vision of the prophet Daniel of a future time when a “great beast” would arise over the whole world, a beast “quite different” than previous beasts who imposed their rule. He said it “shall devour the whole earth, beat it down, and crush it” through “ten kings.” It will overturn the law and even alter the calendar. From its head sprung a diabolical horn whose goal is to “oppress the holy ones of the Most High.” For three and a half years, says Daniel, they will be handed over to him — he who is universally recognized as the “Antichrist.”

The Promised Kingdom

Now listen carefully, dear brothers and sisters. Satan would have you despair in these days when globalist agendas are being forced down our throats. The goal is to break us down, crush our willpower, and drive us either into silence or denial of Christ.

He shall speak against the Most High and wear down the holy ones of the Most High, intending to change the feast days and the law. They shall be handed over to him for a time, two times, and half a time. (Dan 7:25)

But just as Jesus was handed over for a time to be “crushed” through His Passion, what followed? The Resurrection. So too, the Church will be handed over for a time, but only to bring to death all that is worldly in the Bride of Christ and resurrect her again in the Divine Will (see The Resurrection of the Church). This is the master plan:

…until we all attain to the unity of faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the extent of the full stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:13)

In fact, when those days of suffering drew near for Jesus, Scripture says “he set his face to go to Jerusalem” and that “for the sake of the joy that lay before him he endured the cross.”[1]cf. Luke 9:51, Heb 12:2 For the sake of the joy that lay before Him! Indeed, this rising global beast is not the final word.

…that horn made war against the holy ones and was victorious until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was pronounced in favor of the holy ones of the Most High, and the time arrived for the holy ones to possess the kingship. (Daniel 7:21-22)

Have we not been praying for it every day?

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Jesus foretold Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, “I want to raise the creature back to her origin that my Will be known, loved, and done on earth as It is in Heaven.” [2]Vol. 19, June 6, 1926 He even says that the glory of the Angels and Saints in Heaven “will not be complete if my Will does not have Its complete triumph on earth.”

Everything was created for the total fulfillment of the Supreme Will, and until Heaven and earth return into this circle of the Eternal Volition, they feel their works, their glory and beatitude as though halved, because, not having found Its complete fulfillment in the Creation, the Divine Will cannot give what It had established to give — that is, the fullness of Its goods, of Its effects, joys and happinesses which It contains. — Jesus to Luisa, Volume 19, May 23, 1926

Well, that sounds like something to be joyful about! So it is true: what is coming is not the end of the world but the end of this era. What follows are what Church Father Tertullian called “the times of the Kingdom.”

We do confess that a kingdom is promised to us upon the earth, although before heaven, only in another state of existence; inasmuch as it will be after the resurrection for a thousand years in the divinely-built city of Jerusalem… We say that this city has been provided by God for receiving the saints on their resurrection, and refreshing them with the abundance of all really spiritual blessings, as a recompense for those which we have either despised or lost… —Tertullian (155–240 A.D.), Nicene Church Father; Adversus Marcion, Ante-Nicene Fathers, Henrickson Publishers, 1995, Vol. 3, pp. 342-343)

Avoiding the heresy of millenarianism, St. Augustine also spoke of this future period of rest and spiritual blessings to come before the end of the world…

…as if it were a fit thing that the saints should thus enjoy a kind of Sabbath-rest during that period, a holy leisure after the labors of six thousand years since man was created… (and) there should follow on the completion of six thousand years, as of six days, a kind of seventh-day Sabbath in the succeeding thousand years… And this opinion would not be objectionable, if it were believed that the joys of the saints, in that Sabbath, shall be spiritual, and consequent on the presence of God… —St. Augustine of Hippo (354-430 A.D.; Church Doctor), De Civitate Dei, Bk. XX, Ch. 7, Catholic University of America Press

These are beautiful thoughts… a Sabbath Rest for the Church when Satan will be chained in the abyss,[3]Rev 20:1 the wicked will have been purged from the earth, and Christ’s presence will reign in us in a whole new manner.[4]cf. The Coming New and Divine Holiness

But what about the present hour of distress?

This Time of Distress

Recently, the Vatican affirmed its ban on Catholics joining the Masonic sect,[5]see Catholic News Agency, Nov. 17, 2023 and for good reason. For over two and a half centuries, the Vicars of Christ have warned, either directly or indirectly, of the power and plotting of this secret society. Their agenda has long been to “overthrow [the] whole religious and political order of the world”[6]POPE LEO XIII, Humanum Genus, Encyclical on Freemasonry, n.10, April 20th, 1884 the philosophical belief that everything arises from natural properties and causes, and excludes the supernatural.

And so the faith of our ancestors, the salvation won for mankind by Jesus Christ, and, consequently the great benefits of Christian civilization are endangered. Indeed, fearing nothing and yielding to no one, the Masonic sect proceeds with greater boldness day by day: with its poisonous infection it pervades entire communities and strives to entangle itself in all the institutions of our country in its conspiracy to forcefully deprive… people of their Catholic faith, the origin and source of their greatest blessings. —POPE LEO XIII, Inimica Vis, December 8, 1892

There is arguably no other generation that is a better candidate for Daniel’s vision than ours. As I wrote in the War of Creation and The Final Revolution, all the pieces are in place for total and utter global domination. All that remains is the switch to a digital currency,[7]cf. The Great Corralling and the levers of power will fall into the hands of a few men — perhaps ten. While Daniel does not elaborate on why the vision terrified him, it is clear this global beast is able to suppress, demand submission, and crush freedom to a degree unforeseen. And Jesus tells us how it does it in the beginning:

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place; and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky. (Luke 21:10-11)

These are, for the most part, man-made scourges. The division of kingdom against kingdom is nothing other than standard Marxist class conflict (ie. the “errors of Russia”) — man against woman, black against white, poor against rich, the West against East, and so forth. The “plagues” we are now enduring are also manipulated, as COVID-19 was indisputably a biological weapon (and so, it appears, was its “antidote”). Moreover, a looming global food crisis is also a largely manufactured crisis with governments scaling back fertilizer and beginning to seize farms; then there’s the rising cost of fuel, war in the Ukraine, damaged supply chains, and a climate change ideology that is converting farmland into industrial wind factories as they attempt to eliminate fossil fuels.

Those who control the food, control the people. The Communists knew this better than anyone. The first thing Stalin did was come after the farmers. And the globalists of today are just copy-pasting that strategy, but this time around they use pretty/virtuous words to hide their true intentions. Last year, the Dutch government decided that 30% of all livestock needs to be cut by 2030 in order to meet the climate goals. And then the government decided that would mean at least 3000 farms needed to be shut down in the next few years. If farmers refuse to sell their land to the state ‘’voluntarily’’ to the state now, they run the risk of being expropriated later. —Eva Vlaardingerbroek, lawyer and advocate for Dutch farmers, September 21, 2023, “The Global War on Farming”

It’s the height of reckless stupidity — but it’s clearly intentional.

And yes, even man-made earthquakes appear possible:

There are some reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very dangerous phenomenon, to say the least… some scientists in their laboratories [are] trying to devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic specific so that they could just eliminate certain ethnic groups and races; and others are designing some sort of engineering, some sort of insects that can destroy specific crops. Others are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves. —Secretary of Defense, William S. Cohen, April 28, 1997, 8:45 AM EDT, Department of Defense; see www.defense.gov

The great temptation in all of this is a kind of fatalism — that because these things appear inevitable, we should simply hunker down and wait out the Great Storm. But before passing away, Benedict XVI rejected this mindset:

We see how the power of the Antichrist is expanding, and we can only pray that the Lord will give us strong shepherds who will defend his Church in this hour of need from the power of evil. —POPE EMERITUS BENEDICT XVI, The American ConservativeJanuary 10th, 2023

Two things are evident here: one is the call to prayer. The second is the call to bold shepherds who will defend the Truth. This includes not only priests and bishops, but the men at the head of their families.

In his Encyclical on Freemasonry, Inimica Vis, Pope Leo XIII cites his predecessor Felix III:

An error which is not resisted is approved; a truth which is not defended is suppressed… He who does not oppose an evident crime is open to the suspicion of secret complicity. —n. 7, December 9, 1892, vatican.va

You might ask, “What is the point of defending the truth if it won’t change the trajectory of this global beast?” True, it may not stop the rise of this Beast that humanity has brought upon itself. But it may save a single soul from damnation. Moreover, our courageous defense of truth is not always about whether we succeed but how we fought. That is essentially the story of the martyrs. By worldly standards, they and Jesus appeared to lose, and lose badly. But it was precisely the way that He suffered and died that impacted those around Him.

“Let him be crucified!” But [Pilate] said, “Why? What evil has he done?” (Matt 27:22-23)

[Judas] returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned in betraying innocent blood.”  (Matt 27:3-4)

“…we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” (Luke 23:41-42)

The centurion who witnessed what had happened glorified God and said, “This man was innocent beyond doubt.” (Luke 23:47)

Hence, the question is not how we turn the tide of evil but how the Father wishes to be glorified through us. Let us be faithful to the end, and leave the ultimate outcomes to God.

The Promised Kingdom

And when these times are over, it will be the times of the Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven. And you can be certain that whether you are in Heaven or still on Earth, the joy of those days will far surpass the sorrows of these times.

Then the kingship and dominion and majesty of all the kingdoms under the heavens shall be given to the people of the holy ones of the Most High, Whose kingship shall be an everlasting kingship, whom all dominions shall serve and obey. (Dan 7:27)

Fr. Ottavio Michelini was a priest, mystic, and member of the Papal Court of Pope St. Paul VI (one of the highest honors bestowed by a Pope on a living person) who received many locutions from Heaven. On December 9, 1976, Our Lord said to him:

…it will be men themselves who will provoke the imminent conflict, and it will be I, Myself, who will destroy the forces of evil to draw good from all this; and it will be the Mother, most holy Mary, who will crush the head of the serpent, thus beginning a new era of peace; IT WILL BE THE ADVENT OF MY KINGDOM UPON EARTH. It will be the return of the Holy Ghost for a new Pentecost. It will be My merciful love that will defeat Satan’s hatred. It will be truth and justice that will prevail over heresy and over injustice; it will be the light that will put to flight the darkness of hell.

And again on November 7, 1977:

The shoots of the announced springtime are already springing up in all places, and the ADVENT OF MY KINGDOM and the victory of the Immaculate Heart of My Mother are at the doors…

In my regenerated Church, there will no longer be so many dead souls that are numbered in My Church today. This will be My proximate coming to the earth, with the ADVENT OF MY KINGDOM IN SOULS, and it will be the Holy Ghost who, with the fire of His love and with His charisms, will maintain the new Church purified that will be eminently charismatic, in the best sense of the word… Indescribable is its task in this intermediate time, between the first coming of Christ to earth, with the mystery of the Incarnation, and His Second Coming, at the end of time, to judge the living and the dead. Between these two comings that will manifest: the first the mercy of God, and the second, divine justice, the justice of Christ, true God and true man, as Priest, King, and universal Judge — there is a third and intermediate coming, that is invisible, in contrast to the first and the last, both visible. [8]see The Middle ComingThis intermediate coming is the Kingdom of Jesus in souls, a kingdom of peace, a kingdom of justice, that will have its full and luminous splendor after the purification.
