There have been a few key words over the years upon which this writing apostolate revolves. One of them, as long-time readers are well acquainted with, came to me out of the blue some 20 years ago as I watched a storm rolling across the prairies:

There is a Great Storm coming upon the earth like a hurricane.

Shortly after, I was led to read Revelation Chapter Six and the passage of Christ opening the “seven seals.” As I began to read, another word resounded in my heart: “This IS the Great Storm.” But there has always been a kind of footnote to that “now word” along this line:

The labor pains are man-made chastisements. (see Matt 24:5-8)

As I watch the headlines unfold today, it’s incredible to see — not only these seals of Revelation unfolding before our eyes — but also how they are indeed of our own making…. 

 

The Seven Seals of Revolution

I have addressed the content of these seals in detail in numerous writings and podcasts.^[1]cf. The Seven Seals of Revolution, The Great Day of Light, Brace for Impact, etc. Briefly, after what appears to be a time of mercy (first seal; explained in our Timeline) is that peace is then taken from the earth (second seal); inflation and economic collapse follow (third seal); the fallout is the “sword, famine, and plague” — that is, social unrest, food shortages, and new “pandemics” (fourth seal); a violent persecution ensues (fifth seal); and then comes the “eye of the Storm”, a “warning” and a moment of decision for humanity (sixth and seventh seal) reeling from utter chaos. It will be a decision to ultimately choose whether to follow Jesus Christ and be marked for Him (Rev 7:3)… or choose the wide and easy road, and be marked for the Antichrist (Rev 13:16-17). The Catechism of the Catholic Church adequately summarizes this decisive moment in the future:

Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh. —n. 675

I call the above the “seven seal of revolution” precisely because they are borne in a revolt against God, His laws, and the laws of nature. 

 

A Word on the Revolution

Now, note again the choice of words the Catechism employs: that this supreme deception is a ‘pseudo-messianism’ where man ultimately puts himself in the place of God (see The Dark Proofs). 

The chief antagonists of this messianism, as pope after pope has warned in the previous two centuries, are the men behind a global plot to dismantle Christendom and replace it with a Marxist ideological framework:

You are aware indeed, that the goal of this most iniquitous plot is to drive people to overthrow the entire order of human affairs and to draw them over to the wicked theories of this Socialism and Communism… —POPE PIUS IX, Nostis et Nobiscum, Encyclical, n. 18, DECEMBER 8, 1849

Today, the machinations of this scheme are no longer plotted in the backrooms of secret societies, such as the Illuminati or Freemasons. They are now hidden in plain sight within the framework of the United Nations, World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, Central banks, and so on. They even call this overthrow of all things the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” or the “Great Reset.” They smooth over their diabolical aims with catch phrases such as “sustainability and development,” “climate change,” and “inclusiveness.” As has been noted by several spiritual authors, their modus operandi is to utilize division, war, and economic instability — in a word, chaos — to achieve their iniquitous goals. Ordo ab chaos — “order out of chaos” is actually their motto. In the words of French Freemason and philosopher Voltaire:

…when conditions are right, a reign will spread across the whole earth to wipe out all Christians, and then establish a universal brotherhood without marriage, family, property, law or God. —Francois-Marie Arouet de Voltaire, Stephen Mahowald, She Shall Crush Thy Head (Kindle Edition)

This is precisely the urgent and painful warning the Blessed Mother tried to convey to the Church in 1917 at Fatima. As Dr. Thomas Petrisko notes:

Mary hoped “to prevent”— she explained on July 13th [1917] — the “errors of Russia,” an approaching atheistic scourge foretold by her to come out of that country and “spread throughout the world.” In Russia, this “error” would come to life in the form of Communism, as a militant, Masonic funded Marxist revolution explodes in Petrograd on October 25, 1917 — just two weeks after the closing apparition at Fátima. —Twilight of Marxism: Medjugorje, the Downfall of Systematic Evil, and the Fulfillment of the Secret of Fatima (p. 27), Kindle Edition.

Without sufficient conversion, Russia would spread its errors throughout the world, causing untold persecutions, trials, and even the annihilation of nations, Our Lady warned. And, just as Voltaire predicted, this final revolution has indeed been about an attack on the very foundations of civilization:

The final battle between the Lord and Satan will be about marriage and the family because it is the decisive issue. —Sr. Lucia of Fatima in a letter to Cardinal Carlo Caffarra, 1983; Ibid., (p. 743), Kindle Edition.

This is all to say these are man-made chastisements. 

 

By Our Own Hands

Now that you have the backdrop of why and who is behind a global revolution spreading across the world like a cancer, let’s briefly return to the seals of Revelation Chapter 6 to see exactly how. 

The second seal speaks of a rider upon a red horse who was given a great sword to take peace away from the earth. While I will refrain from suggesting any single conflict is a fulfillment of this Scripture, the present war with Iran in the Middle East is dangerously fomenting the definitive opening of the following seals. 

The third seal speaks of hyperinflation or economic collapse, such that an entire day’s wages is only enough to buy a cup of wheat (Rev 6:6). 

I have been listening to a broad spectrum of analysts this past week who are all predicting a new “Great Depression” of sorts. Bond markets, they say, are going to burst the stock market bubble;^[2]marketwatch.com the United States, now over 40 trillion dollars in debt,^[3]us-debt-clock.com is dangerously close to a currency collapse;^[4]cf. financialexpress.com, the Iranian blockade in the Strait of Hormuz is causing an energy crisis, and the price of diesel,^[5]thefocalpoints.com upon which the entire world bases most of its commerce and transport, will skyrocket.^[6]YouTube Personal bankruptcies are surging in America^[7]independent.co.uk while previous alliances between countries have deteriorated and new trade wars have ensued, driving up the costs of consumer goods.^[8]eg. apnews.com 

In his dialogues with Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, Jesus seemed to describe the precise hour in which we are living:

Almost all nations live relying on debts; if they do not make debts, they cannot live. And in spite of this they celebrate, they spare themselves nothing, and are making plans of wars, incurring enormous expenses. Do you yourself not see the great blindness and madness into which they have fallen? (May 26, 1927)

Almost a century later, Our Lady would echo this warning:

Humanity is heading towards the abyss of self-destruction that men have prepared with their own hands. Lack of love for the truth will lead humanity to the spiritual abyss.  —to Pedro Regis, September 12, 2023

The fourth seal seems to describe the fallout of war and economic collapse in the classic biblical formula of self-induced chastisement: the “sword, famine, and plague.” It takes little imagination to see that the sword may not only represent ongoing war, but anarchy with roaming gangs and street warfare.

What about famine? According to bankers JP Morgan, a global food crisis could be on the horizon with massive fertilizer shortages coupled with the impacts of a historic El Niño weather trend.^[9]cf. slay.com; “Strengthening El Niño to push 49 million more people into acute hunger”, cf. un.org

And plagues? What can be said about the continued use of flawed (if not fraudulent) PCR tests to inflate the dangers of a bird flu pandemic to justify the widespread culling of animals and birds; Ebola is out of control in the Congo;^[10]dw.com chronic wasting disease (CDW) is spreeading through deer herds in North America;^[11]slaynews.com and scientists using artificial intelligence have recently created 16 new pathogens — a technology that could easily be utilized to manufacture bioweapons.^[12]dailymail.com

The fifth seal, again, speaks of what appears to be a tribulation well in progress, of those “who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne” (Rev 6:9). St. John sees these souls crying out to God, pleading: “How long will it be, holy and true master, before you sit in judgment and avenge our blood on the inhabitants of the earth?” (v. 10). Statistically, “There have been more Christians martyred in the past century than in all the previous centuries,” said Archbishop Celestino Migliore, the Pope’s representative to France five years ago.^[13]aleteia.org Today, that cry is heard no more clearly than in Africa (particularly Nigeria) where families are being regularly butchered, their homes razed, and churches burned to the ground.^[14]see here and here Violence towards Christians is spreading not only in places like Haiti, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, but even in Europe. Arguably, the first stages of a Christian persecution is well underway in North America; in Canada alone, over 33 churches have been burned to the ground in just the past few years.

Yet, all of the above Jesus describes as only “the beginning of the labor pains”^[15]Matthew 24:8 that seem to crescendo with a final sifting ^[16]cf. When the Weeds Begin to Head through the sixth and seventh seals. Why? Perhaps, at least in part, because the ultimate goal of this global revolution is a plan to depopulate the earth.^[17]cf. The Labor Pains: Depopulation? This is hardly a so-called “conspiracy theory.” Globalists like Henry Kissinger,^[18]“Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.” —National Security Memo 200, April 24, 1974, “Implications of worldwide population growth for U.S. security & overseas interests”; National Security Council’s Ad Hoc Group on Population Policy Bill Gates,^[19]“The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 percent.” —TED talk, February 20th, 2010; cf. the 4:30 mark and university professors^[20]“Society globally has to collectively decide that we need to drastically lower our population very quickly.” —Arne Mooers, Simon Fraser University biodiversity professor and a co-author of the study: Approaching a state-shift in Earth’s biosphere; TerraDaily, June 11th, 2012 have long lamented what they claim to be the overpopulation of the earth. In fact, a new study published this month by a group of international scientists is pushing to slash the Earth’s population by a staggering 4 billion people to achieve what they describe as a “sustainable” future for those selected to remain on Earth.^[21]slaynews.com “Among the benefits,” they conclude, “are habitat recovery and conservation of wild species, reduced greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants, reduced conflict over resources, and the reduction of global poverty.”^[22]see study: “Achieve Sustainability by Easing Population to 4 Billion by 2200“ By the way, that’s exactly the agenda of the World Economic Forum.

In the words of Pope Benedict:

…we must not underestimate the disturbing scenarios that threaten our future, or the powerful new instruments that the “culture of death” has at its disposal. —POPE BENEDICT XVI, Caritas in Veritate, n. 75

Instruments, for example, such as so-called “mRNA vaccines,” according to the former Vice President of Pfizer himself. 

Biotechnology provides you with limitless ways, frankly, to injure or kill billions of people…. I’m very worried… that pathway will be used for mass depopulation, because I can’t think of any benign explanation… —Dr. Mike Yeadon, former Vice President and Chief Scientist for Allergy & Respiratory at Pfizer, interview, April 7th, 2021; lifesitenews.com

As such, the current, and I would say clearly suicidal trajectory of global leaders to bring all our systems to a grinding halt, bears all the hallmarks of deliberately fomenting a revolution. War gives way to energy and economic crises; hyperinflation and fuel shortages give way to famine, disease, and societal chaos; these, in turn, foment a revolutionary spirit against authority, including spiritual authority; and if left unabated, the conditions become ripe for another “pseudo-messianic” communist reign. Create the problems, present the solutions. After all, haven’t globalists, since COVID, been promising in a synchronized chorus that they will “build back better”? Well, they have to tear it all down first in order to achieve what the Prime Minister of Canada, a leading globalist, recently called “the New World Order.”^[23]cf. YouTube here and here

 

Our Lady Pleads

And yet, all of this, according to Our Lady, can be mitigated — not only through our prayers and fasting, but most especially by our personal conversions — one soul at a time. It can be mitigated because these travails are, first and foremost, the fruit of a Church and world that has, by and large, forsaken the Gospel. 

The day will come when many will repent, but it will be late. You will yet see horrors on Earth. Men have defied the Creator and will drink the bitter chalice that they prepared with their own hands. —a message alledgly to Pedro Regis, May 3, 2026

In a message to Italian seer, Simona, the Blessed Mother says, “If you are immersed in my love, if you strengthen yourselves with prayer, if you live the holy sacraments, if you bend your knees and adore my beloved Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, evil cannot do anything to you. You will not fall into its traps.” She adds:

But alas, my children, if you do not do all this, you are easy prey. —January 8, 2026

To Angela, a seer at the same apparition site, Our Lady confirms that these chastisements are self-inflicted:

My dearly beloved children, everything bad that happens is not a chastisement from God. God is not sending chastisements [at the moment]. Everything bad that is happening is caused by human wickedness. —December 8, 2022

Sr. Lucia, one of the three seers of Fatima, also came to this conclusion. 

…Russia has invaded the world with her errors. And if we have not yet seen the complete fulfillment of the final part of this prophecy, we are going towards it little by little with great strides… And let us not say that it is God who is punishing us in this way; on the contrary it is people themselves who are preparing their own punishment… —letter to the Holy Father, May 12th, 1982

As I said recently in The Dark Proofs, we are witnessing what happens when entire nations abandon God. As the prophet Hosea said, “When they sow the wind, they shall reap the whirlwind.”^[24]Hos 8:7 

The Great Storm is a hurricane of our own making.

 

Jesus is Lord of this Storm

But let’s avoid the temptation to think that Satan is all-powerful. On the contrary, God is using, and will use these tribulations to draw us back to himself. As Our Lady said to Mirjana of Medjugorje, who was permitted to see the Devil one day… 

Excuse me for this, but you must realize that Satan exists. One day he appeared before the throne of God and asked permission to submit the Church to a period of trial. God gave him permission to try the Church for one century. This century is under the power of the Devil, but when the secrets confided to you come to pass, his power will be destroyed. Even now he is beginning to lose his power and has become aggressive. He is destroying marriages, creating division among priests and is responsible for obsessions and murder. You must protect yourselves against these things through fasting and prayer, especially community prayer. Carry blessed objects with you. Put them in your house, and restore the use of holy water.

If Providence has permitted this Great Storm, it is entirely out of love for His poor, wretched creatures. 

The human weakness is so much that many times he does not care about My Graces, he is deaf to My Voice, he laughs at My Love. But it is enough to touch his skin, to remove the things necessary to natural life, that it abases his haughtiness. He feels so humiliated that he makes himself a rag, and I do what I want with him. Especially if they do not have a perfidious and obstinate will, one chastisement is enough — to see himself at the brink of the grave — that he returns to Me into My arms. —Jesus to Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, June 6, 1935
